Eva Hamilton in Mutilator 2 (2023)
Mutilator 2: sequel to 1980s slasher is currently available to watch on Prime Video!
Eva Hamilton in Mutilator 2 (2023)
Mutilator 2, writer/director Buddy Cooper’s long-awaited follow-up to his 1984 slasher The Mutilator (pick up a copy Here), is starting to make its way out into the world. The movie was screened at Joe Bob Briggs’ latest drive-in Jamboree event a couple of years ago, and received an “audience favorite” award there. It took a while for it to secure a distribution deal, but now it has – and while Cooper and the distributor were talking about a September 2nd release date, Mutilator 2 has already shown up on Prime Video! It’s currently available to watch at This Link, where it can be rented for $2.99 or purchased for $9.99.

Cooper has confirmed that the movie will be released to major transactional platforms first followed by Fandango/Vudu, Rogers, and then some of the Mod platforms. Eventually, it will also make its way to Tubi and Xumo.

The original The Mutilator (a.

Image
Charles Bronson look-alike Robert Bronzi and Quinton “Rampage” Jackson, who followed in the footsteps of Mr. T for the A-Team movie, star in the action thriller The Caretaker, which Deadline reports is now filming in Nevada. Also in the cast are Avaryana Rose (Bitter Souls), Daniel Baldwin (John Carpenter’s Vampires), Paul Logan (The Horde), wrestler Jacob “Madman Fulton” Southwick, Mark Justice (The Twisters), Brett Benowitz (Alabama Rose), Alex Trumble (The Search for Secret Santa), Leah Voysey (Terrifier 2), and newcomers Lane Griffith and Neva Leoncini. Deadline also got their hands on a pair of first-look images from the film, and those can be seen in this article.

The feature directorial debut of editor Fady Jeanbart, The Caretaker has a screenplay that was written by Joe Knetter (the upcoming George A. Romero-based zombie movie Twilight of the Dead) from a story by producer Jeff Miller. The film centers on the quiet,...

Eva Hamilton in Mutilator 2 (2023)
Mutilator 2: sequel to 1980s slasher is still seeking distribution
Eva Hamilton in Mutilator 2 (2023)
Mutilator 2, writer/director Buddy Cooper’s long-awaited follow-up to his 1984 slasher The Mutilator (pick up a copy Here), is ready to make its way out into the world. The movie even screened at Joe Bob Briggs’ latest drive-in Jamboree event back in October, and received an “audience favorite” award there. And yet it still hasn’t secured a distribution deal. Cooper confirmed this on Facebook, where he wrote, “We are still searching for distribution. It might help if a few fans asked their favorite streaming service or theater when they would be showing Mutilator 2. If enough people show an interest, I feel like a distributor would be willing to help get it out to everyone.“

The fact that Shudder hasn’t swooped in to release this as a Shudder Original is shocking, given that they’ve not only had The Mutilator on their streaming service, but even had...

The Shed: short film starring Halloween 3’s Stacey Nelkin secures Cinedigm distribution
Image
In 2021, Eva Hamilton – whose acting credits include roles in Death Kiss and the upcoming Mutilator 2 – co-founded a production company called The Mooncats, with Stacey Nelkin of Halloween III: Season of the Witch on board as a creative executive. The first project to come from The Mooncats is the short horror film The Shed, and the company reports that they have signed a non-exclusive distribution deal with Cinedigm! As part of this deal, The Shed will be featured in the next season of Bloody Bites, a collection of horror shorts that are released through the Screambox streaming service.

Described as “a grounded, anchored and suspenseful tribute to the 35mm Horror Films of the late 1970s and early 1980s”, The Shed stars Hamilton and Nelkin. The story of the 22 minute short follows Whitney, a struggling escort, as she mitigates the emotional and financial toll of Adult Service work. After seeing an...

Cry Havoc: Watch Bronzi Rumble With a Serial Killer This May
Bronzi is back! This time the Hungarian actor Robert Bronzi, known for his eerie resemblence to Charles Bronson, takes on a serial killer in Rene Perez's indie horror flick Cry Havoc. We mean it when we say takes on a serial killer. Whatch the trailer because Bronzi throws down with the serial killer called Havoc. I don't recall ever seeing someone brawl a serial killer in a horror flick before. At least look like they're winning, like Bronzi does in this trailer. Cry Havoc premieres On Demand on May 5th. It's just so crazy it might work. Robert Bronzi, the star of Death Kiss and Once Upon a Time in Deadwood, faces his deadliest opponent yet in Cry Havoc – available this...

We speak to the film's star, Charles..er, Robert Bronzi.

Now, first things first, you aren't actually Charles Bronson reincarnated, are you?

I have to say no, I'm not his reincarnation. I'm his double. I was born with this face, with this body and with this talent. I have used my appearance to my advantage throughout my career as a stuntman and actor. I'm grateful for the resemblance to Bronson and I'm very proud to be his double. Charles Bronson always was and will always be my favorite actor.

I’ve got a trailer to share with you today for an upcoming western called Once Upon a Time in Deadwood, and I can’t tell if its supposed to be funny or serious. I think it’s serious, and the fact that it’s serious makes it even more funny.

The story follows “a notorious gunslinger who is slipped a slow-acting poison by an heiress and told he has three days to track down and rescue her sister, who has been kidnapped by a band of hoodlums and holds the antidote.”

The gunslinger is played by Charles Bronson look-a-like actor Robert Bronzi (Death Kiss) and it also stars Michael Pare (Streets of Fire), who is the villain. Once Upon a Time in Deadwood Trailer: Charles Bronson Lookalike Goes Wild in the Old West
Quentin Tarantino at an event for La 85e cérémonie des Oscars (2013)
A riff on Quentin Tarantino's Once Upon a Time in Hollywood starring the world's premiere Charles Bronson impersonator has arrived in the form of Once Upon a Time in Deadwood, which also plays off of HBO's hit series and Charles Bronson's own Once Upon a Time in the West for a trifecta of tomfoolery. ‘Death Kiss’ DVD Review
Stars: Robert Kovacs, Daniel Baldwin, Richard Tyson, Eva Hamilton, Stormi Maya | Written and Directed by Rene Perez

[Note: With the film now out on DVD in the UK, here’s a reposting of our review of Death Kiss from its Us debut last year]

As if having one of his films, Playing With Dolls, released in the UK as Leatherface wasn’t bad enough (though not his decision but rather the UK distributors), Rene Perez has gone all out with his latest movie, in “homaging” other exploitation films – in this case Charles Bronson and Death Wish – with Death Kiss. Perez’s latest film features Charles Bronson doppelganger Robert Bronzi (here billed as Robert Kovacs), who previously appeared in another Rene Perez film From Hell to the Wild West, as a vigilante with a mysterious past who goes to a crime-infested city and takes the law into his own hands, trying to rid the city of crime whilst at the same time protecting a young mother and her child.

Escape from Death Block 13 Trailer: Fake Charles Bronson Is Back and Ready to Kill
Charles Bronson
You'll believe Charles Bronson is back from the dead...Or not. It's hard to say how ethical it is to keep pumping out new action movies with a spot-on Charlie lookalike, but Robert Bronzi is certainly making a career out of it. We have the first official trailer for his latest action thriller Escape from Death Block 13. And if you squint really hard, or quick chug a couple shots of shoe polish, you'll believe you're actually watching a long lost action masterpiece starring Charles Bronson himself.

"Bronzi is back!" Screams the tagline on Escape from Death Block 13, which is a solid throwback to the gritty action thrillers of yesteryear. It perfectly recalls John Carpenter's Assault on Precinct 13 and Charles Bronson's own Death Wish. The new prison action feature stars Robert Bronzi, who was last seen in Death Kiss. And he's obviously changed his name to give himself more of a Bronson vibe.

‘Death Kiss’ Trailer: A Charles Bronson Lookalike Blasts Through Criminals
Charles Bronson
Legendary film star Charles Bronson starred in five Death Wish movies over the course of his career, but the actor passed away in 2003. There have been dozens of knock-off films since then (and even a remake starring Bruce Willis earlier this year), but none like Death Kiss, a new low-budget affair that appears to […]

Watch an Exclusive Clip from Death Kiss, Coming to VOD and Digital Platforms on October 2nd from Uncork’d Entertainment
Through five Death Wish movies spanning 20 years, Charles Bronson delivered a unique brand of justice to violent criminals who crossed (and sometimes ended) the paths of his family and friends. Although the iconic actor passed away back in 2003, Bronson's memory lives on in the new film Death Kiss, starring Robert Kovacs as a man who could be Paul Kersey's doppelgänger. With Death Kiss coming out on digital and VOD platforms on October 2nd from Uncork'd Entertainment, we've been provided with an exclusive clip from the film to share with Daily Dead readers!

Press Release: Uncork'd Entertainment announces a digital/VOD release date of October 2nd for new action-vigilante feature Death Kiss.

Filmed in Northern California, the film stars Robert Kovacs (who has gained attention for his uncanny resemblance to a certain well-known action star), Daniel Baldwin (John Carpenter’S Vampires), Richard Tyson, Eva Hamilton (horror fest fave Ruin Me), Stormi Maya,...

A Charles Bronson Look-a-Like is Out To Kick Some Ass in This Trailer For Death Kiss
I’ve got a ridiculous trailer here for you to watch today for a new vigilante action-thriller called Death Kiss. As you’ll see, it a Charles Bronson-style film and it comes complete with a Charles Bronson look-a-like! That actors name is Robert ‘Bronzi’ Kovacs, and he doesn’t do much talking in the trailer. It’s clear he’s just there to look like Bronson and kick some ass and I found it quite amusing.

The film follows a vigilante with a mysterious past who goes to a crime-infested city and takes the law into his own hands, at the same time protecting a young mother and her child. When talking about the film, producer Jeff Miller says:

“Rene’s movie is very cool and stylish. It feels like a throwback to the Cannon films of the ’80s. After an enthusiastic response at Texas Frightmare Weekend in May,...

Death Kiss Trailer Has a Charles Bronson Lookalike Hunting Scumbags
Charles Bronson
We haven't gotten a new Charles Bronson movie since Family of Cops 3 way back in 1999. The actor passed away at age 81 in 2003, and there has been a hole in action cinema ever since. Now, one man is stepping in to fill that hole, and you'll either find it indelibly creepy or really cool. It all depends on how you feel about lookalikes and their need to make money off the dead.

Meet R&#243bert Kov&#225cs. He's a dead ringer for Charles Bronson that will have you doing double-takes. Now, he's taken his notoriety for being a Paul Kersey doppelganger, and is giving us essentially a lost Death Wish movie, aptly titled Death Kiss. And, oh, boy. We're not sure what to make of it just yet.

Filmed in Northern California, Death Kiss also features Daniel Baldwin, Richard Tyson, Eva Hamilton, Stormi Maya, Leia Perez, Reese Austyn, and Sam Story.
