Butt Boy

Kept me engaged.

It is quite a strange movie. But it is very entertaining and keeps progressing.

Most movies are predictable in some way. This is not. It keeps you guessing throuout the entire movie.

The production is in my opinion excellent. Every thing is smooth, but also changing.

But be warned. Even though it is a, in it universe, believable plot. It is a very silly plot and silly ending. But if you like those kind of movies, it is a good one

Ok I don't love it, and I'll probably not ever see it again. But it's was not a waste of time, not like I am butt hurt about it. /p

Some good acting, enjoyably absurd, truly impressive cinematography for something with this low a budget, and some occasional good moments, although mostly before the credits start (quite late).

But it's so very very slow, and padded, I was praying for death. It just goes on, and on, and on....

So, you know, props for how beautifully made it is, and the fact that it was made at all. But Lordy it was a long slog.

I knew I had to see this movie based on the premise, and it's even weirder than that. There are lots of gross happenings and it's far from a masterpiece, but I had a grin throug most of it and I would recommend seeing it at least once.

I wasn't sure what to expect with this film, but it was a really fun movie. It was a unique take on the "serial killer" paradigm that we've been accustomed to. It's one long version of the same joke, but it worked for me because they played it really straight. The humor is not at all in your face and never once tells you were to laugh. I appreciated that. I kind of felt like I was able to choose my own moments to find humor and not have them forced on me. It's dark and silly and worked. It didn't feel like a low budget film, either. It looked like they put effort into the production (which added a level of humor for me, everything about this film felt earnest) and the tone created makes the content easy to consume. Go in with an open-mind for the best experience and enjoy the ride.
