The 2025 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards have officially come to an end!

Singer Tyla hosted the show live from Barker Hangar on Saturday evening (June 21) in Santa Monica, Calif., and she even got super soaked with slime after winning the Favorite Global Music Star blimp.

The night also featured performances from Machine Gun Kelly and Katseye.

The 2025 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards will be taking place in June 2025 and the nominations have been announced!

Nickelodeon just revealed that music star Tyla will host the event live on June 21 from Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, Calif. The show will air live on Nickelodeon, TeenNick, Nicktoons, the Nick Jr. channel, MTV2 and CMT and Nickelodeon channels around the world at 8pm Et/Pt.

Ariana Grande, Lady Gaga and Kendrick Lamar lead the nominations this year with four mentions each. There are 35 categories in which fans can vote in, beginning on Thursday.

Musical performances for the live show will be announced at a later date.

Green goo and big stars are joining forces once again for the 2025 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards, which officially unveiled its host and nominees on Thursday.

Grammy-winning artist Tyla will take the reins as host when the show airs live on June 21 from the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, Calif.

The slime-filled spectacle will simulcast across Nickelodeon, TeenNick, Nicktoons, Nick Jr., MTV2, and CMT, as well as international Nickelodeon channels, where fans can watch their favorite TV, movie and sports stars get covered in green glop.

This year’s nominees include a fresh batch of first-timers such as Gracie Abrams, Zach Bryan, Jordan Chiles, Frankie Grande, Cynthia Erivo, Doechii, Keith Lee, Chappell Roan, Shaboozey, Shohei Ohtani, and Florence Pugh.

Selena Gomez, Ariana Grande, Lady Gaga, and Kendrick Lamar lead the nominations with four each, while Jack Black, Dwayne Johnson, and Jelly Roll follow close behind with three nods apiece.

Wicked just cannot stop getting awards attention. Two months after the end of the awards season, the 2024 fantasy musical film has received five more nominations, courtesy of the 2025 Kids' Choice Awards.

Per Deadline, Wicked has added five more nominations to its already impressive list of accolades. The fantasy musical starring Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo is up for Favorite Movie at the upcoming Kids' Choice Awards, where it will compete in the category against the following other fan-favorite movies that were released in late 2024/early 2025 — A Minecraft Movie, Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, Captain America: Brave New World, Descendants: The Rise of Red, Paddington in Peru, Sonic the Hedgehog 3, and Thunderbolts*. The 2025 Kids' Choice Awards will air live on June 21 at 8 Pm on Nickelodeon.

The remaining four nominations are split evenly in two acting categories, with Grande and Erivo up against one another, as well as Emma Meyers (A Minecraft Movie), Jenna Ortega...

Nickelodeon's Henry Danger and The Thundermans franchises finally received an official timeline and designation that includes both universes titled the Heroverse.

Of the two superhero franchises, The Thundermans came first. Beginning in 2013, the original Thundermans series introduced fans to Phoebe and Max Thunderman, who are twins with superpowers. One year later in 2014, Henry Danger began.

Both original shows have since ended, but with the recent release of Henry Danger: The Movie (which is missing one of the franchise's biggest characters), they now each have their own feature film as well.

Many fans noticed that Charlotte did not make an appearance in Henry Danger: The Movie, leading to questions about where she is and if Riele Downs (the actress who portrays Charlotte) will ever return to the franchise.

The Henry Danger movie was a major release for the Dangerverse. After Henry Danger and Danger Force aired on Nickelodeon from 2014-2020 and 2020-2024, respectively, the recently released film was the first feature in the franchise.

The Henry Danger movie has performed extremely well since its premiere. It debuted on both Nickelodeon and Paramount+ (where it is still streaming), and even held down the number one spot in the streaming service's top 10 movies for a few days, causing many to wonder what that could mean for a potential sequel.

Cooper Barnes made an epic but brief return as Captain Man in Nickelodeon's recently released Henry Danger movie, potentially setting up the next chapter in the Dangerverse.

Captain Man was introduced in the original Henry Danger series, which aired on Nickelodeon from 2014 to 2020. He then led a three-season spin-off, Danger Force, which lasted from 2020 to 2024, appearing in all 68 episodes.

When Henry Danger: The Movie was announced, many fans wondered if Captain Man would have a role to play in the story. As it turns out, he was briefly included in the Nickelodeon movie (also released on Paramount+), adding another big name to the movie's star-studded cast.
