This is one of the better History Channels Investigative shows although it drags at various parts with too many flashbacks and reviews. It seems to connect cases across jurisdictions that apparently had not been done before. The "solving" of the Z360 code looks interesting but is not accepted by other experts so far. Whether anything they raise truly takes a step towards solving the killings will only be proved if a case is ever brought or something fully conclusive.

Waiting for season 2 and hopefully we see programs like this in different cases.

They repeat what little content they have at least a dozen times, and have nothing new to present. Every tiny piece of circumstantial evidence known from before is presented like they found a smoking gun on a grassy knoll. Their "super computer" is somehow not in the cloud and also makes the same spin up sound as a hard disk from the 90s. The camera cannot stop moving, cutting and zooming to pointless dramatic sound effects. The 5 episodes could have been presented in about 10 minutes

It's 2020. Is a new season coming with answers or has this whole thing just been a load of bull?

They've done a pretty good job up until now hope it returns.

This entire series could have been easily condensed into an hour and a half long documentary, but the editing makes it so they have so much "filler time" riddled with people repeating themselves over and and over again, rehashing the same information, with all the stereotypical tropes of dramatic reveals with instrument hits in the most basic "discoveries". lt started out interesting, and l watched to the end out of curiosity, but the end was so extremely dis-satisfying. Many scenes also feel dramatized or setup because of the way they shot everything, and there just HAPPENS to always be a camera recording for breakthroughs. lt's super maddening and makes the series feel so artificial. ln the end, this documentary was okay, but such a HUGE waste of time.

Dragged on for way too long didnt need to be 220 minutes I just barely managed to finish the 2nd episode and i can't go on had to quit because I was falling asleep at how boring this is they don't shut up about the code trying to decipher it heres a clue you morons if it hasnt been deciphered since the 60s its more than likely bs

Over edited, over dramatized history channel pap. These guys take themselves super seriously and the music is sooo dramatic, yet they never reveal anything new.

Oh and the Z340 code was cracked in december 2020 and I'm pretty sure one of the guys who actually cracked the code is in this show, yet he never gets any screen time lol.

The show seems very promising at first, but as it continues on it seems more and more like things are being fabricated to add cinematic value. The cadaver part is very sketchy and seems completely set up (faked). Same with the bomb thing. Both seem set up and fake. The broken code is complete BS if you actually look at it and why wouldn't the "super computer" be used more than two or three times? Like I said, starts off strong and then it turns into a production. Nothing new really.

Some interesting content over-shadowed by the fluff to make this into a seasonal series. The super computer appears to be nothing more than a filler for each episode. The crypto uncoverings have all been thru human effort. I would take that computer back to Best Buy!!! Let's get to the final conclusion...

So I was really enjoying this until it just stops... no solid ending, no info on the DNA, no follow up on the rest of the coded message or other murders... there was nothing I couldn't have found in a 2 second internet search. It was repetitive but that's almost all crime docuseries, as well as the over-acted surprise, probable scripting and reshooting scenes for effect. I was pretty PO'd for it to just quit without any great reveals. WTF History Channel? Did aliens snatch the rest of it?

Seems History Channel is getting more lax and trendy in their content rather than actual history and informative and this is a perfect example of that.

Had to repeat it three time to reach character limit. Documentary should be about story not the so called investigators more interested in massaging their egos.

Hello - I am going to tell you the truth of why I have an issue with this show. I really did solve all the ciphers and the Zodiac name was in there twice. One is Z340. I had also found Zodiac identity in Z340 long before the show. BTW, he was found with the full name in Z408.. It is his last name. Kevin knight got into my twitter acct and ripped off the Z340 identity and told me over and over I was a plagaqrist and made threats. The twitter mods were watching and told me Unsolicted to call the police. This also went went into my cloud acct. I took screen prints. This is how bad they wanted the answers, and it only takes an hour to solve all, not 16 years, and missed where Zodiac said he was. And left 15 lines, so I did the remaining lines. And all the rest. They are different branches of the arabic language. Not ciphers. Kevin took this into the FBI the day after last show and said he solved identity. It is a felony to lie to the FBI and tell someone they will get you Why do I have to watch my back for years? I do not have a problem with rest, except they wont even talk to me and delete my comments on You tube. Something is wrong with the parent company to not vet properly. This is not right and it is against the law and I do have back up docs to prove it. I can also pull from the cloud. This still angers me that he did that. You would think people would be honest, but he is not. I would never ever in my lifetime fo that to ANYONE. Yes I stand behind my prior comments and can prove. The police will know who if he tries to kill me. You know, he hand carried to the Fbi the morning of the last show. Just how, I ask you seriously - how could I even plagarise like he said? I dont know him. This is unacceptable. Let me know if you want the documentation. He is no better than the Zodiac himself if he follws thru on threats he made.. He made me look like a fool publicly, he invaded my privacy. He threatnened me, he lied to the FBI, and all of this seems acceptable to Kanga, I let them know also. I gave one star, and it is because the program would not let me go further if I didnt. I dont have an issue with the rest of the people, In fact, I found Sal and Ken to be good and honest Thank you. JUst so you know I solved - Z13 is Hindii, Z32 is Teluga, Z340 is Tamil, Z408 is Afrikaans, Z18 is Afrikaans. If I didnt solve, how would I know that?? If you want to see every cipher, including the last 15 lines of Z340 and Make sure you get special char. And Z13 and Z32 you must do 3 times, each time must manipulate the language to another form of arabic. The unsolveable Z13 and Z32, you put in Google translalator and press enter. It will take you an hour to do them all. Real difficult and must take decades and millions to solve, right ? Not !!! You did not need Carmel. Pencil, paper, and translator, is all that is needed. Zodiac died BTW I amnot going to live in fear. I did for years now because of that damn show and Kevin. Thank you.
