I Think this film deserved more attention from any viewer and pay more attention to the real specific subject it was trying to give . Maybe Acting was not the best but what it really made this Movie stand up for me was the simplicity to show how a pressure man could finally be himself and be accepted from his change of sex.
My favorite passages were when he went to visit his mother and this beautiful human being accepted him the way he really wanted to be. That love that Director showed right there was worth to feel and watch! I won't ever forget that sentence that she told to her new becoming woman-daughter: "One must learn how to find one's peace of mind" Right there is the most beautiful message from the entire movie!
Also I loved all the pictures, natural landscapes, the way that this movie was presented , this Director really got me in all ways the way that he explained the story was logical, clear and with a special message of love, acceptance and tolerance!
I think only he thinks his acting is good. Obviously he didn't do any homework or his acting skills are very limited .
"It involves a lot of yelling, growling, tears and physical exertion in the two-hander between Tai-hung and Anne's heated argument, both Keung and Wai gear up to the eleven in their exhausting confrontation, he is in a pink wig and a disheveled dress, incongruously wailing with his masculine, gravelly voice of despair and anguish, while she is a bien-pensant housewife, who has everything to lose if this skeleton in the closet sees the light of day, fighting a losing battle with seething desperation and rancor, for its sheer spectacle of theatricality, TRACEY is worth its salt, including Ben Yuen's terrific facsimile of an aging trans-woman who finally is granted to have a ball before it is too late."

Of course, I knew the the story behind the production. When you thought Asian Audience never watch "Ustav Republike Hrvatske (2016)", do watch Croatia's film right now and you will find out how great "Nebojsa Glogovac" acting was; unlike "Philip Keung" who refused the character himself, if I was the director, I was show the actor's original acting and do the same then will be perfect as first time director. It's really bad for first time director and didn't know there was a trick set by someone. Why not just buy the script? There is a "black dot" all the time right now.
