Le miracle de la mer des Sargasses (2019)

Trivia

Le miracle de la mer des Sargasses

Edit
Second collaboration of Syllas Tzoumerkas with the lead actresses of his two previous films: Angeliki Papoulia from Une déflagration (2014) and Youla Boudali from Hora proelefsis (2010).
Christos Passalis performs the songs of the film live.
Youla Boudali co-signs the screenplays of all Syllas Tzoumerkas's films: Hora proelefsis (2010), Une déflagration (2014) and Le miracle de la mer des Sargasses (2019)
Angeliki Papoulia and Christos Passalis first appeared together in Canine (2009). In Le miracle de la mer des Sargasses (2019), they appear only once in a brief scene together.
Crucial scenes of the film were shot in long real-time one-takes by director Syllas Tzoumerkas and cinematographer Petrus Sjövik, in order to capture the natural progression of the light during the characters' actions.
