The Invisible Sue is a film that every mother should watch. It shows what would happen to the kids if mothers don't care about their children. Work is important, but children are also important too. Kids need their parents' love. Parents should give their times for their kids no matter how much they are busy. In this film, Sue's mother didn't give time for her kid, so, Sue wants to be friendly with her mother. But her mother doesn't care about her. She only cares about her work. That results Sue's superpower. According to this film, because of her mother's lack of care, Sue got her invisibility superpower. But what if she didn't superpower and she died instead? That's why I said every mother should watch this film.
As for the film, it's a bit childish. But it's kind of enjoyable. The plot is quite simple, but it's still OK. What I don't like is the main actress's acting. In that scene where Alfred said "in the other words, you're in grave danger, Miss Sue", then in the next scene where Sue has to act like she's afraid, something like that, her acting is really bad. I kind of hate that face of how she shows she's afraid. So, acting is a bit better, it'd be better.
There's one more thing I'd like to mention. It's about the voices of actors. I think this film isn't from Hollywood. It's kind of a foreign film. What I watched is in English speaking. So, they must have dubbed it. That's what I want to point out. The voice artists for English version is very bad. I feel like they are not acting and somehow, I feel like they are just reading texts.
Right now, I don't want to write long review, so, I'm going to conclude it. As for conclusion, although this film is a bit childish, the content is sometimes a bit weird and dialogues are a bit simple, it's still enjoyable. But I kind of want to see something better and something different because I really had some high hope. For now, I can only say it's just a normal film.

My kids loved it and long for a sequel. Children as spectators are taken seriously and the play of the young leading actors is terrific. For me it was finally a kids movie, in which I did not fall asleep.
Invisible sue is the story of a young girl who gets accidental superpowers. She already has a brilliant mom, a loving father and more money than she can spend, but she is bullied at school and the only reason she gets her superpowers is that she is a needy crybaby and throws things around in her mother's lab. If her character would have been more sympathetic, this could have been a fun film. If you ask me, the real hero is her friend App, who can do just about everything with science and ingenuity, but what do I know?
Anyway, this is a kids movie, made by Germans. It's in the same time well done and really awkward. Compared to similar American films it features bad dubbing, worse acting and a weird and convoluted script that makes little sense, but it is also a decent effort. I won't recommend it, but it is definitely not as bad as its rating.

"Invisible Sue" wasn't really all that outstanding, if you sit down to watch it by yourself. But if you sit down as a family, then I believe the movie will have more appeal.
This felt like a pseudo-superhero movie made by one of the numerous children channels, such as Nickelodeon and the like. I mean that in a positive way, mind you. Because the production value was great, they put a great amount of effort into the special effects and the execution of the movie on the screen, just a shame that the movie was one that seemed like it was aimed at a younger audience.
The movie starts out pretty good, and it is nicely paced, but for me it started to become stale and flaccid about an hour into the movie, and I must admit that I was starting to lose interest in the movie about that point.
The special effects in "Invisible Sue" were quite good, and that definitely did a lot for the movie. Now, you will not be blown away and bedazzled by a spectacle of special effects, but it was quite good, taking into consideration the premise of the movie.
The acting in the movie was good, again taking into consideration of the genre of the movie. But you shouldn't be getting your hopes up for a Shakespearian theatrical experience.
Now, this movie is German, but I was unfortunate enough to watch an English dubbed movie, and it was really, really hard not to focus on the lip synch that was totally out of tune with the German pronunciations and the English dubbed language on the speakers. Actually, I think if I had watched it in its original language, than I would actually have given the movie another star on my rating.
My rating for "Invisible Sue" is five out of ten stars.
