Home sweet home.

I was touched by the story. If I were to find anything wrong I would have loved to have this be a 2 hour film. With that being said it was a perfect wrap up for a one hour episode. It delt with Don and Judy relationship. It delt with Penny as a young woman who never got the chance to have a relationship. As always it had a lesson like all LIS episodes and the message of family and the important role it plays. As a fan of the series it was a humbling end.

Brings the series to a close

You might think for a table read it would be dull but it was spiced up with some effects clips, music, and of course the best prop of the show the robot. The cast were mostly in fine form and read it as though they were acting in an episode, giving it their all. Mark Goddard really was diving into it. A must see for the fans and a fitting conclusion to this great series

Trivia
Bill Mumy wrote this script that concluded the series by returning the Jupiter 2 crew to Earth. After the cancellation of the show, He called Irwin Allen and told him about the script and that all the cast agreed to do. Allen told Mumy "don't send me the script, if you do I won't read it" and refused to go any further with it.
