not my cup of tea but...

While it seems to be based on true occurrences but myself i could not relate to the issues & questions raised in the film but i found the cinematography and teh way story unfolds, the dialogues between characters seemed very natural and perhaps not so cinematic and i kinda dont favor the choice of going for multiple languages but either way i think this is an admirable attempt and a good step for khaleeji film industry, highly recommended if you're interested in feminism and such matters, not recommended if you you're looking for a movie to switch your brains of and be entertained

    Better than I was expecting

Friends choice and they picked this movie. It was great! We laughed, cried, and smiled all throughout the film. I'm always hesitant to watch these types of movies because of it feeling cheesy or forced but it didn't at all! Really enjoyed it.

    Different kind of Omani film?

Although it is not completely shot in Oman but the film is something new, different than usual Omani dramas, I'm not sure whether this is the very first collaboration between Oman and India as it is being advertised but the the story unfolds is unusual for Arabic films and a breath of fresh air. The movie basically points out several women issues that exist in Oman and the culture of silence that is common among middle eastern women and other conservative societies.

    a milestone for omani cinema!

I went to watch this film alone, wasn't expecting much in the beginning but came out truly surprised and amused by what I watched, I was blown away with what Omanis were able to achieve, well of course it's a joint production with India but still not bad, hopefully this sets a platform for more Omani feature films (and perhaps mostly shot in Oman); it's not a film I recommend for families or couples seeking a fun film to watch together, the film's plotline is not for everybody.

    unfair hate towards this film!

I noticed some Arabs bashing this film so unjustly, it's clear the reason behind the unjust criticism is their insecurities and the illusion they think they're living in a utopia, because the film touches on subjects that are not discussed publicly and in many occasions are simply kept in the dark, the issues raised in this film no Omani film ever touched and shed light on, while the film does have a fair share of flaws but the hate towards the film is stemming from mainly two reasons, A) the film recognizes sexual harassment in a society that pretends it is the best in the gulf and treats the women just, B) the film exposes the hypocrisy of a middle eastern conservative society
