Casey McKay meets Solomon 'Ex' Clemons while Ex is working on a County Line pinball machine. County Line (2017) came out the year before Legal Action (2018) and Brent Christy, the director of Legal Action, was the director of photography for County Line and the director for the two sequels County Line: All In (2022) and County Line: No Fear (2022).

Goofs
When Judge Thorne orders that testimony be stricken from the record, the court reporter is shown with a pen crossing out the testimony on her paper. This is not an accurate depiction of how a record is stricken. Stricken testimony remains in the record but it can't be referenced for evidence or legal arguments.

Make this a weekly show!

Loved this movie. It's true this appeared to be pilot for a weekly show. We want to see more of these same characters. This laid out the premise for a good old boy lawyer going after he bad guys. Need to keep his sidekick PI and his bad ass wife, too! Please make more of these! And it was PG so the whole family could see it.
