If I have to tell this movie review in Just one line then it would be - move on, nothing novel here
The story is just plain! It's all about love, separation, drugs, crime and revenge! The movie is scattered and doesn't seems to fit in all. The casting is just below average! Can't understand the purpose of few segments such as baba ghantal! It gets boresome and even if we feel that it may get interested little later, it doesn't and then end abruptly.
It goes lame... 3 points only for the makers courage to make it a film!

Paharganj (Prime Video) - Laura Costa, a Spanish tourist in India follows social media posts shared by her boyfriend Robert about his experiences in Paharganj in Delhi after she loses contact with him. She scours through the lanes and establishments of the locality in search of Robert, encountering a myriad of characters but success eludes her. On the other hand, a basketball coach Gautam Menon suffers an onset of depression and loneliness when his brother dies. He believes that the pompous Jeetender Tomar, the son of the home minister is responsible for his brother's death and searches for clues. His actions and attitude cause his wife and young daughter to distance themselves and move away from their home. A young street outlaw Munna feels obligated to help Gautam in whatever manner possible. The three stories must dovetail into a common thread as these characters are bound together by fate.
Paharganj is the dark and depressing story of a few people whose lives are shaken up by crime and lawlessness. The ground level police is ineffective and corrupt, unwilling to act until slapped into action by the seniors, making Laura's experience of India a really pathetic one.
The film is a low key and dark projection of the reality about the underbelly of any city where crime is aplenty and navigation is almost impossible for the hapless sufferers. But the treatment is almost like a documentary, the pace so languid, as if the director and editor were disinterested in executing the project. The performance of all the actors is downright insipid, making the whole cast and crew appear amateurish. When Munna explains to his girlfriend that he is basically like a street dog in life using a longish rant, ending with that he still has a human heart, it evokes laughter instead of empathy.

The movie is boring. it won't engage you even for a single minute. I don't know why such movies get released. The story has been dragged for no reason. The performance of the actors is bad to the core. Giving it 2 star because of the title track. The movie had lot to say but couldn't justify.
Has anyone noticed a trend? all the 10 out of 10 rated reviews of this movie are on the same date 12th April...quite amazing isn't it?!? what does that imply? and if it is so obvious, why doesn't IMDB put a simple algorithm for filtering out stuff like that? it doesn't even need AI.

Paharganj failed to bind story and it's characters together . There is Menon, prasadhan, munna and X,y,z. It seems director was having no clue about the previous and next sequence . It abruptly cuts from one scene to a different narrative. As far a acting is concerned it was really far from vision. No other than lead actress did some justice on her part.
The story telling could have been much better. Music is a dash of relief rest everything else is a mammoth waste of time

Absolutely useless script
Senseless dialogue
Stone faced actors
Jumping from one story to other, with no connection
And most importantly, TRUE Paharganj is hardly visible. Just some drugs and Baba's shown here and there along with kiddish Don's of the area

Please don't waste time watching this movie. The rating of 7+ is incorrect. This movie lacks in every department, story, screenplay etc.

An absolute waste of time. Bacd acting, lousy writing, ridiculous dialogues & disgusting direction. Seems like the director jus got random nobodys to stand in front of the camera. The writer is playing one character, the casting director is playing another. Looks like none of the crew took anything seriously & it shows in each & every scene.
These kind of films are just made to cheat people like us, cheat us out of our time when we could be watching something worthwhile. Netflix shd throw this one out of their library.
Disgusted to the core!!!
