A film for the kids... and that's it.

I went into this movie sort of expecting it to be a a bit of a 21st century version of 'Flipper'. It isn't. Instead it's a cheaply made, averagely acted, predictably plotted caper movie. There is surprisingly little animal action or underwater footage. There is a strong environmental message, however. It also features one of the most irritating child actors I have encountered in a long time. That's my adult perspective though. Preteen kids will lap this movie up and that's the demographic it's aimed at. At just under 90 minutes in length, that age group won't be bored with this movie. Mine weren't anyway. From that perspective then, this movie is a success and I note that a sequel seems to be in the works, so the producers have obviously done something right.

Great message on conservationism...terrible movie.

Living close to St. Augustine and frequenting Marineland and supporting their conversation efforts, I was excited to see the film. The message is very important. It's execution is so bad. Poorly acted. Cheaply made. Painful to watch. Skip the movie and visit Marineland. Although, young kids will like the movie.

Waste of time.

Even my niece and nephews said it was too boring (which says a lot, because they are usually they are pretty easy to entertain.)

Simple plot and so boring.

Bernie the Dolphin is a kind of family film. And it seems to be stunning. But it's so boring for me. Maybe because I'm not that much into family movies, I feel like it's so dull and boring. The plot is too simple that I have watched a thousand of times. If they could do a better plot, the film would be better than this.

Although this film is terrible, the dolphins are so cute. I totally love them. But unfortunately, they couldn't save the film. Hence, it's still boring.

Overall is that this film might be a good one for some people, but as for me, it's so boring that I stopped in the middle and couldn't continue to the end.

A boring dolphin movie! Wasting too much potential! And not funny at all! Disappointed!

A fun movie

I was so happy to bring my family to see Bernie the Dolphin last evening at the theater. We loved the movie from beginning to end. Really happy to see a film that touches on conservation and caring about animals... They kids were perfect and so so adorable. Great fun film.....

Terrific family entertainment!

Really enjoy seeing strong family entertainment like this one. Reminded me of a films from the 90s with the kids battling against an evil guy in Kevin Sorbo while trying to save a dolphin they car about. These types of films can become very cheesy and this one didn't. The acting is very believable and not over the top. Dolphin footage is surprisingly well done for a non studio type film. My family had a ball watching it and my kids have already asked to see it again.

Captivating

I really really liked this movie. Even though it's aimed at children, I think it's a good one for the whole family to watch. I went away with a good-feel feeling, a wholesome feeling. It's always nice to watch an uplifting, encouraging movie. Some movies you go away feeling empty after, but not this one. I thought the plot and story was great. The characters and actors were fantastic and all fitted with each other well. No swearing or anything along those lines which is always an added bonus. In summary: Good-feel-family-funny-fun-filled movie!! Get around it folks!😀🎥 P. S Number 2 is also really good ;) God bless.
