Based on the story "Paksujalka noitavainajan kyytimiehenä" (literal translation: Thick Foot escorting the deceased witch) by Samuli Paulaharju, originally published in the Finnish magazine "Kansan Kuvalehti" (#50, 1930). It was also included in his novella collection "Tunturien yöpuolta", originally published in 1934.
