I'm a big fan of Katt Williams. Many of the one liners were real stereotype zingers. The humor flips both shades. It's a silly comedy with good fun so I dont get the bad reviews. I'll take this anytime over Madea, so there. Good to see Katt again.
This is yet another horror hood comedy so you should know what to expect.
If you didn't know this means storylines from successful movies, hip hop in the soundtrack, rapper cameos and actors from the hood movie cannon.
This delivers in every one of those tropes.
The story of this one is lifted from The Burbs and Fright Night mainly, I noticed one review asking why the wife was even in this movie. That is obviously someone who didn't watch the entire movie as she is central to the story.
Its the typical type of humour you would expect from Mike Epps and Kat Williams which is why I stuck with this until the end.
Its certainly worth your time if you have seen most of the 90s hood movies as many of the in jokes and characters refer to these previous films.
This film certainly knows its target audience and doesn't pretend to pander to the mainstream.
I enjoyed it but then I got most if not all of the references to movies like Belly.
Some movies aren't for everyone....

So many 1 star reviews. This is a sequel to a very similar movie, if you didn't like the first don't watch the 2nd. If you get high and watch this comedy it is hilarious . I really enjoyed it, fan of Mike epps. Like fright night, so this was a good combo. Worth the watch if you enjoyed the first or any mile epps movie, the 3rd Friday movie.
From the opening credits I was skeptical about the movie. A lot of big name comedians that I enjoy but it didn't help their acting. The story line is horrible and if I were you I would save my money and time.
I recently watched part one to this 'Meet The Blacks', so I knew exactly what to expect going into this. But in all honesty, they've improved (albeit only a little), on the original.
You still have the awful acting, jokes...and cringe moments from SOME of the cast. But because the movie looks so good, it sort of gets away with it. Imagine watching 'Birdemic', or 'The Room', with a much, much, much bigger budget.
As I said before, the movie looks and sounds great, with some impressive CGI, especially the vampire slayings and Katt Williams' floating.
Not much of an original story, or any type of story at all...it was all very 'seen it before'. A few cameos here and there kept things fresh.
As with the first instalment, Mike Epps' one-liners are the highlight. Also the chemistry between him and Cronut is great. Michael Blackson, Katt Williams and King Bach were just being Michael Blackson, Katt Williams and King Bach! Nothing different from anything else you've seen them in, (which isn't necessarily a bad thing).
The wife was just as attractive as I remember her being in part one...and they even threw in a new sexy female neighbour too...so there was plenty of eye candy on show, (if that's your thing).
I only wish Snoop was in it more. There's a post mid-credits scene that hints at a third instalment, in which they all go 'ghostbusting'...which I can only imagine is a carbon copy of parts 1 and 2, only with a 'Ghostbusters' type storyline.
Overall - definitely won't be winning any awards, but you could do a lot worse than spend a few hours watching this. Watch the trailer first, if you like that, then you'll probably enjoy the movie.

- TriviaThe red skull mask, which is a distinctive feature worn by The Stranger in "Meet the Blacks," also makes an appearance in "The House Next Door: Meet the Blacks 2." It is showcased among a collection of weapons and tools by the dealer prior to the party scene. This continuity detail connects the two films and adds a layer of depth to the movie's universe.
- GoofsWhen Carl notices Freezee's car parked behind the neighbor's house, it cuts to Hugo who is also looking at the car from the opposite direction. The car is shown again from Hugo's perspective, but the license plate is backwards.
