Bollywood producer Sajid Nadiadwala is investing INR10 billion ($121 million) in U.K.-based projects featuring industry A-listers.

Coming up is “Housefull 5,” the latest instalment in the blockbuster comedy franchise starring Akshay Kumar (“Omg 2”) and Riteish Deshmukh (“Ved”), directed by Tarun Mansukhani (“Dostana”). Like the previous four films, “Housefull 5” will be filmed in the U.K. The film is budgeted at $48 million and will be produced under the producer’s Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment banner. The previous four films released in 2010, 2012, 2016 and 2019 respectively and together grossed $118 million.

Addinath made his Bollywood debut in the biographical sports film 83, portraying the role of former cricketer Dilip Vengsarkar. He was also seen in Criminal Justice.

Revealing about his character in the show, Addinath said: “Bajao’s teaser is out and the content is very different, unlike the content we have seen on the web recently. Hence, they are keeping it very minimalistic.

Karan and Kartik are currently in Melbourne for the 14th edition of Indian Film Festival of Melbourne (Iffm) which commenced on Friday. The event was inaugurated by personalities Karan, Kartik, Mrunal Thakur and Vijay Varma.

On being asked by an Indo-Australian media outlet present at the press conference about them working together, Karan said: “We did attempt to work together once in the past but that didn’t materialise. But we are working together on something. Hopefully this will materialise.
