Still thinking of this spot so many years later

David Fincher has so many cultural touchstones this one feels like it's always existed. It's sort of his equivalent of the 1984 Apple spot Ridley Scott did. Fascinating it's the same year as Alien 3. They make me use a tremendous amount of characters to post a review so I'm going to reminisce about the opening weekend of Seven at the Paseo Neuvo theater in Santa Barbara where a packed theater full of young ladies there to see Brad Pitt be dreamy had a really unexpectedly intense night. It's one of my favorite screening memories when the backwards credits hit it was like chefs kiss though we didn't have that expression yet in popular culture. Fincher was and continues to be one of the very best to have ever done it.
