Jojje Jönsson and Stefan Gerhardsson appeared both in "Barnaskrik och jäkelskap" (2003) and "Pang på pensionatet" (2011). Jönsson played Dag-Otto Flink in both films, and Gerhardsson played Nils-Erik Kristersson in the former and Directour Sture Sandström in the latter. Dag-Otto refers to Nils-Erik repeatedly. The first name and the big, beautiful eyes of Ella Andersson (Maria Mälson) remind Dag-Otto of Nils-Erik's cow by the same name, and the first name and the sour temper of Dr. Valter Friberg (Thomas Nystedt) remind Dag-Otto of Nils-Erik's pig by the same name, but due to bad experiences with Nils-Erik's pig, he begins to call him "Yngve" (after Nils-Erik's chicken by the same name) instead of Valter.
