Sadly there are not a lot of good Ukrainian TV shows nowadays, but "The Dog" ("{Pes}") is an example of a good exception.
The show combines a good pace, catchy stories, interesting characters, and humor. Even though one of the characters is overwhelmingly dumb and comic, it just adds additional flavor to the show.
Every time I happen to accidentally find this show on TV, it makes me stay and watch it.

Great show, highly entertaining though totally not believable because of the over the top exaggeration of K9's talent. Not sure how many GSDs were used but they all acted as good as human, relatively speaking.
As detective stories go, these are unabashedly formulaic, cliche ridden, rough edged ... yet the humor, creative writing, and cast of characters - and especially the charismatic performances of Panfilov ("Maks"), and nec, ("Dog") - make this show a binge-watcher for me.
I happened across this series on Amazon Prime and I was hooked from the first episode. The characters, the stories, and of course, the Dog(!), are great. Check it out.
I found this show by accident and absolutely adore it! Some of the translations are off, but it's still very well done! I love all of the characters! Their backstories are well developed and the pace in each episode is perfect. The scenery is beautiful too! I just wish Gnezdilov wasn't so mean to Dog. I'm about to finish season 2, but I really hope their are more seasons to come! I also wish they would do some season preview type things with interviews with the actors, actresses, and producers. It would be neat to see how they create such lovely filmography every episode. I highly recommend this diamond of a show!!
