Here's how many episodes are in Loki season 2 and when to expect the MCU show's finale to air. The development of Loki season 2 was confirmed in season 1's finale, and since then, most of Loki's cast and characters have been confirmed to be returning. Loki season 1 released in the McU's Phase 4, and marked the first time Marvel Studios explored the multiverse. After Sylvie killed He Who Remains and unraveled the Sacred Timeline, subsequent MCU projects have been picking up the pieces, and Loki season 2 is no exception, picking up immediately after the events of season 1.

Loki: Is Ouroboros The Bad Guy?
Image
Ouroboros helped He Who Remains build the Tva—and may still be loyal to him. Ouroboros could have easily plotted Victor Timely's suspicious death Ob's real goal is to reset the multiverse before it gets out of control.

The following contains spoilers for Loki Season 2, Episode 4 "Heart of the Tva," which is now streaming on Disney+.

Loki Season 2 is dialing the Marvel Cinematic Universe's Multiverse Saga to the next level as the franchise hurtles toward the events of Avengers: The Kang Dynasty and Avengers: Secret Wars. The series picks up directly where the first season left off, as Loki, Mobius, and their friends at the Time Variance Authority desperately try to clean up the chaos left behind when Sylvie murdered He Who Remains and let loose the multiverse. Loki Season 2 Detail Teases Episode 1’s Biggest Storyline Is Not Yet Resolved
Image
Warning! This article contains spoilers for Loki season 2.

Loki's time-slipping may not be resolved yet, as unseen shots from the season 2 trailer suggest the phenomenon will return later in the story. The return of time-slipping after episode 1 would benefit the show by providing answers to why only Loki experienced this and how it ties into the overarching story. The possibilities for Loki's time-slipping and its role in the endgame of season 2 are endless, making it a crucial element that could be further explored and fleshed out.

Loki season 2, episode 1's biggest plot point may not yet be resolved based on a forgotten detail of the MCU show. In comparison to the first season, Loki's second outing has managed to include many elements to differentiate season 2 from its predecessor. From delving deeper into the workings of the Tva through the Temporal Loom to the inclusion of Jonathan Majors as Victor...

Scissor Sisters’ Jake Shears Talks Embracing His Past on New Solo LP
Graham Norton in The Graham Norton Show (2007)
This past May, after he performed his first solo single “Creep City” on The Graham Norton Show, Scissor Sisters singer Jake Shears received some unsolicited feedback on Twitter.

“Some bitchy queen was like, [in a British accent] ‘This sounds like every other Scissor Sisters song ever written,’ and I just wanted to say, ‘Yeah, because I wrote them!'” he tells Rolling Stone, while seated in the kitchen of a friend’s Upper East Side NYC townhouse. “That’s my sound, you know, and I want to keep making that sound as long as...

An Endless Cycle: Basma Alsharif Discusses "Ouroboros"
Basma Alsharif has garnered attention worldwide for her installations and shorts over the last few years. Her work invites the viewer to re-think the depiction of language, time and space, and to re-experience the understanding of creating images and telling stories.I interviewed the filmmaker about her feature debut Ouroboros, which will have its world premiere as part of the Signs of Life competition at the 70th Locarno Film Festival.Notebook: Could you comment on the process of creating this film as a mirror to your own experience and also as a bridge to your filmmaking ideas? Basma Alsharif: As a Palestinian in the Diaspora, I have watched and experienced the perpetual destruction of the Gaza Strip throughout the course of my life—as it has throughout my parents' lives and my grandparents' lives. With the privilege of distance coupled with the privilege of having access to visiting throughout my childhood into adulthood,...

A Slow Assessment: 2017 Whitney Biennial Film Program
Dani Leventhal's PlatonicThis review, I think, might best be understood as an example of “slow criticism.” This is a term coined by Filmkrant editor Dana Linssen to describe “wayward articles,” ones that have a personal or political element that is somehow not timely. We can imagine that the reverse of this is “fast criticism,” the up-to-the-minute report from a film festival, the 140-character response tweeted out the minute the first press screening is over. These thoughts are not timely. The Whitney Biennial closed on June 11th, and the film program screened its final program on May 21st. So although I expect many of these films to have a life long after their appearance at the Whitney, I am not providing any kind of late-breaking news flash from the film or art world by writing about these works in this forum. But in a way, that is the point. Even...
