Things Fall Apart

I couldn't finish it. I watched a good 25 mins into it on tubi and it seemed to have no point at all. Maybe this is what mumblecore drama is supposed to be? Never heard of it.

I watch some bad movies, so not finishing this is saying something. On the good side this was technically better than most bad movies i watch. Such as acting and camera work. So there's that if you want to check it out.

This movie started out being a typical indie production, similar to COHERENCE, but after nearly an hour it still hadn't made any progress whatsoever. Basically everything of any interest happens in the last 20 to 25 minutes. Interesting, not informative in the slightest, so don't go hoping for an explanation or revelation of any sort.

Elisabeth needed to see a dentist 20 years ago, Noel or Nola, whatever, was weird for seemingly no reason, her issues didn't add anything to the movie aside from 10 minutes of stupidity that was irrelevant.

Blondie never even had a name... so that tells you enough.

Mike's ex had a "big secret" from "long ago". She kissed Mike, long ago... 4 months, no explanation or exposition whatsoever on how/why it happened.

I can even accept the mystery red herring item at face value, but they could have at least said it looked like it came from X background or area or anything.

The room they were eating in was an outdoor room inside the house??? It had siding on the inside, it had full on "L" corner pieces covering the edges, but going the wrong way with the apex facing IN to the wall.
