Eye opening on so many levels

This film should be seen by everyone in the United States and Canada before it is too late. We must change what we do to the ocean. We must be the change we want to see in the world!

An important documentary everyone needs to see!

The underwater photography is amazing. Pristine habitats, plankton at night, elegant schools of fish, underwater lizards!! The footage makes you feel as if you are right there with the creatures in the ocean.

Barnes provided in-depth information about the issues. There was evidently great effort put in to finding the most suitable people interviewed who present an overall view of hope for the oceans. There is an urgent and important message in the film that conveys how the ocean is essential for life on earth. No ocean, no us.

It leaves me feeling educated and inspired about the future. This film should be seen by everyone, especially young people!

    Essential viewing.

    Such a good film!!!

Everyone should see this documentary because it's the kind of movie that will literally change your life and the way you see the world. I've watched many documentaries but this one really affected me the most. It is moving. You get a look at the human relationship with the ocean through the lens of a personal narrative that is at the same time so comprehensive. Shocking and eye-opening. A must watch!

    Comprehensive and Moving

What I love about this film is it covers many issues while still feeling unified. In fact, the summation of everything gives a big-picture perspective that is rare and thought-provoking. Timely, urgent, incredibly important, yet also captivating, wonderous, and awe-inspiring with beautiful footage of ocean creatures. It's both a nature documentary and an impassioned call to action.

    Spectacular Film

I really enjoyed this doc about the perils facing the ocean. The lineup of experts is impressive, and the underwater cinematography equally so. Sea of Life depicts the beauty of the ocean but doesn't sugar-coat the reality of humanity's growing impact. There is hope for the future, if we heed the film's warning.
