When you think of the DC live-action universe, Swamp Thing might not be the first thing that comes to your mind. Sitting somewhere in the back of our minds, Gary Dauberman’s show seems like a distant memory at best. Of course, its tragic fate in the superhero universe might have had something to do with this.

Shortly after its premiere, Swamp Thing was pulled off the stage and canceled before the rest of its episodes were released. Fans have still not forgotten the ill-treatment of the show and are calling DC out for giving up on it so easily and leaving the audience begging for more, especially as they reminisce on one iconic scene from the pilot episode.

Dakota Johnson is set to host “SNL” for the second time on Jan. 27 where she’ll be accompanied by Justin Timberlake as the musical guest.

Johnson stars as the titular character in “Madame Web,” in theaters Feb. 14. She plays Cassandra Webb, a Manhattan paramedic whose psychic abilities allow her to see into the future and the interconnected spider world. She stars alongside “Euphoria” star Sydney Sweeney. Johnson is also known for her 2015 starring role of “Anastasia Steele” in “Fifty Shades of Grey,” the film adaptation of the best-selling erotic novel, “Fifty Shades of Grey.”

When taking a question from an audience member about the renewed interest toward the producer’s Timberlake collab ‘Cry Me a River’ amid the release of Spears’ memoir, Timbaland said, “She goin’ crazy, right? I wanted to call Jt, ‘Man, you gotta put a muzzle on that girl’.”

After a heavy day of backlash on social media, Timbaland went live on TikTok as he does most nights, showing remorse for his comments. “I apologise to the Britney fans and her,” he said, reading a comment asking about his attitude towards women. “Yes, ‘you know about respecting women?’ Hell yeah.”
