The anime series Flcl:Grunge and Shoegaze from Adult Swim is officially coming to an end, according to a studio executive on X (formerly Twitter).
Senior vice-president of anime at Warner Bros. Television Jason DeMarco took to the site to confirm that the network will not produce any further seasons of the show in a post praising the work of the anime's cast and crew. "Adult Swim considers Grunge and Shoegaze ratings successes and is very happy with their performance," DeMarco said. "We won’t be making any more, but thank you to everyone who helped make them a success, you taking the time to watch means a lot."
