Released during the high point in Full Moon’s relationship with Paramount Pictures, Seedpeople was heavily advertised on its original UK release back in 1992, with ads appearing in many of the horror magazines of the period – including full page ads on the back and inside cover of The Dark Side (which ran for months on end I recall). The film itself wasn’t as successful as the other notable franchises in the Full Moon stable, with many reviews at the time noting that the film was a rip-off of Invasion of the Body Snatchers and essentially that’s what the movie is: a tongue-in-cheek alien invasion flick that echoes the feel of low-budget sci-fi flicks of the 1950s.

A little over a year ago, we learned that Alexander Skarsgard of Succession, The Legend of Tarzan, and The Northman had signed on to star in the ten-episode sci-fi series Murderbot, which is set up at Apple TV+. It was recently announced that the show is going to make its global premiere on Apple TV+ with the first two episodes on Friday, May 16, followed by new episodes every Friday through July 11 – and now, with the premiere just one month away, a trailer for the show has dropped online. Dragon Ballcovers a tremendous amount of ground from when it begins to Goku flying off with Uub. Goku experiences many changes from when he’s first introduced, many of which come in the form of powerful transformations. Dragon Ball is absolutely rich with forms and the series has reached a point where characters are beginning to develop unique, individualized final forms – from Orange Piccolo, to Black Frieza, and Gohan Beast.

Goku has undergone more transformations than the most Dragon Ball’s characters, but not all of his forms are aesthetically pleasing (to say the least). Power and practicality are obviously fundamental to battle, but Goku’s forms rank a little differently when visual flair and design are the primary concerns.

This is appalling. Director Zach Lipovsky, writer Harris Wilkinson, and WWE Studios were given the chance to make a new Leprechaun movie, they cast a professional wrestler (Dylan “Hornswoggle” Postl) as the title character, and then they just churned out a dull monster movie. I don’t know how anyone involved thought this was a good idea (“You know what we should do? Take everything people liked about Leprechaun and remove it!”) or how Leprechaun: Origins made it through production.

Filmmaker / musician Chris Alexander is the former editor-in-chief of Fangoria magazine, the co-founder/editor of Delirium magazine, and he wrote the book Corman/Poe. The set of freshly-baked fun collects all five slasher comedies on Blu-ray alongside a Gingerdead Man figure in cookie tin packaging.

Remastered from the 35mm original elements, 2005’s The Gingerdead Man stars Robin Sydney, Jonathan Chase, and Gary Busey as the titular killer cookie.

2008’s Gingerdead Man 2: Passion of the Crust, 2011’s Gingerdead Man 3: Saturday Night Cleaver, the 2013 crossover Gingerdead Man vs. Evil Bong, and the 2021 spin-off The Gingerweed Man each make their Blu-ray debut as part of the set.

At its core, 9-1-1 is a gripping drama that expresses the trials and tribulations of the 118 crew of the Lafd. As such, while 9-1-1 may be criticized for its sometimes outlandish plotlines and arcs, fans still appreciate the show's dedication to keeping audiences on the very edge of their seats.

Kris Kristofferson, the nine-time Grammy-winning singer-songwriter and actor, died Saturday at his home in Maui, a representative for the performer shared with TheWrap. Kristofferson was 88 years old.

In a time where CGI and other digital technology reign as the kings of cinema special effects, Full Moon Features has released a film with old school SFX and a production timeline nearly half a century-long, spanning from conceptualization to release, with The Primevals.

And this timeline length is no exaggeration. The road to this film’s release began with plot elements used in the 1968 short film Raiders of the Stone Ring by writer-director David Allen (Puppet Master II and The Howling) that evolved into a full-length film script by 1975 and then produced by Charles Band in 1978.
