Screenwriter Don Spencer has three credits to his name and they are THE STUDENT NURSES, THE BIG DOLL HOUSE and SWEET SUGAR, which is the disc you can find this thirteen-minute interview on. Vinegar Syndrome released SWEET SUGAR as a surprise and what was more shocking is that they were able to track down Spencer for this interview. Roger Corman is mentioned several time during this interview and we hear how Spencer got involved with these productions. Spencer talks about what he was trying to do with SWEET SUGAR and shares some production stories that are certainly interesting. If you're a fan of any of these three films then you'll want to check this out. There's certainly nothing great being told here but it's a pleasant interview and it's great getting to hear from the man who wrote them.
