It's a mystery as to why this song hasn't become a bigger hit, receiving a sort of relatively good airplay back in 2005 and then it became practically forgotten except for Oasis fans. "Let There Be Love" takes us back to the group early days with a Beatles kind of sound, hopeful and melancholic, but also has the love/hate Gallagher bros sharing vocal duties and nothing but a constructive is formed with this song - just like the awesome and positive "Acquiesce".
The clip is a band performance from several Oasis concerts, all filmed in black-and-white and shown through a slowed effect. You see the large crowd full of enthusiasm, Oasis rocking everyone but the view we get, all slowed down feels like a more poetic observation, careful and detailed. Might not look all that special, but at least they delivered one of their most beautiful tunes and lyrics, one that needed a special care. 8/10
Beatles reference: besides the melodies, which also sounds like Lennon's solo efforts (the piano), a quick shot of Liam wearing a shirt with the first names of Beatles members.
