Could have been better

It is a cute little film noir set in Saint Nazaire, France, a town where there is usually no film at all, or a very few. It is supposed to be a petty crime film, involving petty punks, hoodlums. But it remains very smooth, using the usual scheme of a punk trying to start a new life, cutting off from his former life and relations. It remains very ankward, totally ambition less. I usually watch such features, only for the principle, and I also usually forget them, unless they are pretty dark and gloomy, gritty and depressing. This is not the case here. But it deserves to be seen actually, at least only once.
