Dark Crystal : Le Temps de la résistance (2019)

Trivia

Dark Crystal : Le Temps de la résistance

Edit
All of the episode titles are quotes from Dark Crystal (1982).
According to official lore, Dark Crystal : Le Temps de la résistance (2019) is set during a time on planet Thra known as the Age of Division. This is a time period lasting a thousand years, beginning with the Great Conjunction that split the urSkeks and ending with the Great Conjunction that (along with Jen and Kira's help) reunited them.
Director Louis Leterrier confirmed at the New York Comic Con 2018 that this series will rely on puppetry instead of computer animation. CGI will only be used to remove puppeteers, especially in scenes that involve green screens.
Special effects designer Toby Froud is the son of world creator Brian and designer/puppeteer Wendy Froud, and also played the baby, Toby, from Labyrinth (1986).
Billie Whitelaw, who provided the voice of Aughra in Dark Crystal (1982), passed away in 2014. Actress and puppeteer Donna Kimball was hired to help out during a script read-through for this series, during which she recreated Whitelaw's performance so perfectly that she was offered the job of voicing the character.
