I don't think they know their lines.

The acting is really, really bad. It looks and sounds as though they are reading their lines from a teleprompter. And the green screen scenes are so unrealistic. Yikes!

There's "so bad it's laughable"...

...and then there's this, which is so bad it's a complete embarrassment. Like, so embarrassing it will make you wince. I'm not kidding. They use green screens for backdrops that look like high school amateur productions. The dialogue is stilted, and even a vet like Donna Mills can't save herself in this mess. Really, she's more than a few steps above has-beens like Antonio Sabato Jr. and deserves better.

Want more seasons

It is true that there are a couple laughable aspects to the production (green screen & obvious line reading), however the story is intriguing and deals with relevant issues. I appreciate that it's not sleazy. I have noticed I am not the only one longing for the story to continue. What happens next?

Amazing Series - Pointing People to the Word of God

This series is ordained by God and is spirit led in its intentions concerning the message it delivers to the audience. The resources used to deliver this message may not be high quality, but it acting is superior and the message and script is clear and purposeful. There are many family values and lessons that are taught from this production that go way beyond just the setting but really stay true to the Word of God and the intentions that he has set for every human. The series also shows how our faith is tested and teaches family values, marital roles, parental challenges, racial tensions, and lots of other themes. Most of all it teaches love! I really hope they come out with a 3rd season. I will also be leaving this review on Facebook with hopes that someone will see it and know that the work they are doing and what they have done has made a great impact in the lives of others.
