He has also notably used his story to remind his fans the importance of receiving regular check-ups and taking proper care of one’s skin.

NBCUniversal wants to add an interesting new story to Jenna Bush Hager’s “Today” book club.

For nearly four years, the co-host of the 10 a.m. hour of “Today” has chosen a book each month for members of her “Read with Jenna” club to peruse and discuss. The selections typically focus on new authors and writers from diverse backgrounds who may not get the spotlight awarded to better-known contemporaries. Now, as part of a “first-look” production deal with Universal Studio Group, Bush Hager will have an opportunity to expand the stories she finds to other media. The pact was brokered by United Talent Agency, which represents Bush Hager.

The Hollywood Foreign Press Association has tapped an outside law firm to investigate accusations of sexual misconduct against Husam (Sam) Asi, a longtime member and Golden Globes voter.

Three women came forward in an investigation by TheWrap to accuse the Palestinian journalist of abusing their trust by turning professional situations into sexualized encounters, including a former assistant who said that Asi showed her pornography at work and kissed her on the lips without her consent.

In Live+3, the concert special drew 11.7 million viewers, +1.3 million from Live+same day, surpassing viewership for the 2021 Oscars. It delivered the largest audience for an entertainment special since CBS’ Oprah With Meghan & Harry, Oprah Winfrey’s primetime interview with the Duke and Duchess, which drew 21.2 million viewers on March 7.

The branded “Meet Cute” series features three female and non-binary filmmakers — Carly Usdin, Sadé Clacken Joseph and Haroula Rose — who have each created a short film inspired by a true Bumble “Meet Cute” story. The filmmakers were empowered to retell these real-life romances in their own voice.

Production on Season 2 of the Netflix hit “Bridgerton” has been shut down after a second Covid case among the team, according to news reports.

The news was first reported by Hello Magazine.

Representatives for Netflix and show producer Shondaland confirmed the shutdown on Saturday but declined to provide any further comment or details. It is reportedly unclear at this time whether the person who has contracted the virus is a member of the cast or the crew but the individual is in isolation.

Production on the series from Shondaland had resumed production on Friday following a crew member testing positive for Covid-19 earlier in the week. The show is primarily shot in Bath, England.
