Australia has found a niche in crime drama, much as have Scandinavians with their crime. I think such crime drama is mainly intended for an Australian audience. I would understand if British or American viewers found it hard to rate such shows highly because the Australian culture is so prevalent in them. I am Australian, and I loved Killer Cop. The show really is a worthy instalment to the Roger Rogerson saga. The genre now a great range of shows to chose from, including the Underbelly seasons and films, Bikie Wars, and Killing Time. I loved the way this show could include relevant scenes from the earlier Blue Murder. If you really want to enjoy this show to the full, see that show first. Quite an eye-opener!
