Saab Bahadar

The first investigation thriller in pollywood. The first punjabi film with an original storyline. Has its own merits as well as limitations.

What's good: The first punjabi film of its type. So it's unique in a way. I loved the investigation scenes especially the one in which Saab bahadar finds the right motorcycle . Moreover, the investigation looks real. Although the climax is very usual.

What's bad: Like every punjabi film , this one has some useless things. Like the verbal fights between the Kubul and deepi which have no role in building the story, they are just to fill in the screen time. And the comedy scenes are bad.

Just a time pass film but happy that someone has brought this genre to punjabi cinema.

Very happy with this movie Thumbs up to the movie cast and their performance , very nice story line, Good example for Bollywood to learn concept of Good movies without an item song. Good story and cast is enough to make a perfect movie hence required less pre movie publicity. Quality speaks for it self. In-short looking forward to watch such movies from Polly-wood.

Saab Bahadar an intriguing thriller that I didn't expect to come out of Punjabi movie scene. Ammy Virk is great but Bhalla sahab and Rana Ranvir are phenomenal as usual. Once again Bhalla saab's movie didn't disappoint.

Nice murder mystery. They need more punjabi murder mysteries
