Well made and fun, perfect for kids.

My 3yr old is bingewatching this on netflix for the 4th time and still regularly laughs out loud!

It has a clearly defined setting and characters, the animation style is distinct and the plots are simple, but effective. This all makes it easy to watch for young children, without it being 'dumbed down' or of less 'eshetic apeal' that so many modern cartoons display. The fact that there are 78 episodes with basically the same 'Tom & Jerry'-like formula that nonetheless never feels repetative, is a testament to the ingeniuity of the creators. The animation is quite good and sometimes pays a subtle hommage to classic cartoons.

This is a show that is well made, with attention to detail and it is clear the creators care for their characters and the world they live in. It makes this a very enjoyable and rewatchable show, for children ánd their parents.

Good fun

As there is no dialogue the comedy is all through facial and body expressions, and noises from the animals. Children from any nationality can watch and enjoy it. It also has some slapstick humour but it is very mild. Some humour is a bit subtle for younger viewers but it also lets adults who are watching get a bit of a giggle.

Pretty OK, But:

Look. This show was a little fun to watch, but all it does is go boring. It's always the same thing over and over again. Kind of repetitive but a little fun to watch.

It's like Tom & Jerry for today's kids.

My 3 1/2 yr old loves it and I've found nothing wrong with it. It entertains him in a way that's safe and fun. Plus the setting is better than Tom & Jerry.

Hilarious

Absurdistic, crazy, cute, wildly funny. My child and I both love it. Big 10 for us.

By the way, I don't see the similarity - as some here are saying - to Tom & Jerry at all. This is so much more witty and intelligent, and funnier.

Kids love it but no redeeming qualities

My boys and their friends love this show and I don't know why. They never laugh or get engaged while watching. They just sit and watch it, in silence, and get upset when we turn it off. There is no dialog in the show so the children are "stimulated" by noises and sound effects, and there are a lot of those. The noises are loud and repetitive and the interactions between the characters are nothing but battles back and forth. If that's your type of kid comedy, great, but I see no redeeming qualities in this show. I understand not all kids shows need to teach or be educational but this is the 100% opposite of that. Boring and repetitive.

Luckily available on Netflix and Boomerang channel

My young sis knows about this shows is quite funny. I know the group of lemmings is the naughtiest animal but cute and funny. My mom also know this show too and she feel pity about Grizzy who always distracted by the group of Lemmings. I hope this show deserves the best ones!!!

This show is dumb.

This show is pure noise that gives me a headache. This show looks like it deliberately copied Open Season which in my opinion is a way better film than this nonsense. Don't watch this. It's purely noise and it's annoying.

Very well made & recommended for Tom & Jerry fans

Got curious when Cartoon Network & Boomerang added this to their schedule. Turns out it has an almost similar quick and quirky attributes that a classic cartoon like Tom & Jerry has. The setting, graphics and characters are very well made. It may have some violence but it's generally not a concern.

Terrible for young brains

Please don't let your children watch this show, and Super Wings, while we're at it. The fast, hectic pacing is terrible for developing young brains. It negatively impacts executive processing, which increases distractability. There are many studies on the impacts of shows like this on children; you can research it. Yes, they may laugh at some of the antics, but this show is crack for children. We all already know that cartoons aren't great for the brain, but some cartoons are much more harmful than others, and this animation style is absolutely among the worst. Please please stay away from it.

Brilliant kids cartoon

This has gotta be 2022's Tom n Jerry.

The graphics are fantastic, the depiction of characters is perfect, the characters themselves are consistent and the theme plausible enough for all of the action and intricacies of the story to hang together.

Some of the reviews on here have made me laugh almost as much as Grizzy.

Adults need to understand the difference between a kids cartoon and a cartoon aimed at adults. GRIZZY & THE LEMMINGS IS AIMED AT CHILDREN.

So the criticism of every episode being the same is totally misplaced.

Children need consistency, this isn't South Park or The Simpsons, this is a simple kids cartoon where children need to know what to expect in each episode.

Every episode is supposed to be the same!

The lesson throughout Grizzy is that if only Grizzy and The Lemmings collaborated and worked together they would achieve their goal.

It is all about proving to kids that team work makes the dream work.

So for adults who are complaining this is boring, too bad.. this is not a cartoon for you - please get that into your head before commenting.

There are countless cartoons for adults at this point, but Grizzy is a classic aimed at kids, where in each episode the theme is identical but the details change and how the same story unfolds changes every time.

That's what young children need and what dials them in and aids focus. The last thing kids need is something complex where they need to follow a plot that evolves through multiple episodes.

The Creators of Grizzy have nailed it.

The imagination that goes into each episode, how the tremendous score carries all the action along and the subtle clues and hints as to what is going to happen next are borderline genius.

Easy 10/10.

"Bad" because of extreme repetition

Ok, I actually like this show style and humor, the animation is great, the problem is that every episode is almost the EXACT SAME!!! If you watch one episode, you have watched all, when you watch one episode, is funny because the jokes are new, when you watch another episode is less funny because it's the same episode with little variation, and when you watch another is again the same so it's even less funny, when you watch 10 episodes, you feel that you have watched the same episode 10 times so you can't watch more.

This show could be good if there were more variety, even Oggy and the cockroaches (which is repetitive too) has more variety than this.

I don't care if every episode plot it's the same if the jokes are different, but no, the jokes are the same in every episode!! With variations in the ejecution, but the jokes are the same

Not bad to watch an episode once a while, but it gets boring quickly if you watch 2-3 episodes straight.

Great cartoon

Like looney toons was to kids all those years ago so is the Grizzy cartoon to kids today. My 4 year old grandson has been loving it for over 12 months and still continues to watch all the repeats he's already seen. Lots of fun and totally innocent. No violence, no profanity (as there's little dialogue). What you would expect from a wholesome children's cartoon. Highly recommended

The Problem with Modern Kids Shows

Out of all the kids shows I've seen, this takes the top spot for being the worst. The storytelling is repetitive and formulaic, the characters are dumb, unlikeable and annoying, everything is too overstimulating, fast-paced, brightly colored and loud just to be appealing, the animation isn't really that good, and there's no good morals messages for the audience to learn at all. The "message" here is that if you can't share something, just fight over it until karma bits you in the ass. Okay, what? Do the showrunners not care about the audiences' intelligence? That's why most kids are kinda dumb now because they consume garbage like this. I will admit, the show does provide some solid social commentary regarding consumerism and the use of technological/mythological items, and the consequences that occur when a person is not careful with it. That still doesn't save this show.

Overall, this is a terribly made, unoriginal, brainrotting show that adds nothing of substance for its audience and I do not recommend it to anyone. Watch Bluey instead.

Cute for kids

I love this show. It is great for children. The show itself is a laid back comedy sketch that exists only for humor. It is not logical but at the same time it is free from all political motives, virtue signaling or any other manipulative insertions that are inappropriate for childrens television shows. The bear is on a journey to simply eat, enjoy life and get the attention of the local female bear wandering the nearby forest. The lemmings are a rambunctious set on a mission for fun.(It is often mischievous) Unfortunately lemming fun often collides with bears life plans and the following engagements between the two is always entertaining to watch. I do not mind it playing in the background nor do I mind if my kid is watching it. I would recommend. It has has zero talking and the sound effects are typically not annoying so that is a positive as well!

Makes everything else look good

Having a 6 yo kid means I seen a "few" animations, some good, some bad, some oh so repetitive and annoying. This falls into last category. None of characters speak, so they use lots of sound effects, lot of screaming too when everyone falls from sky, which happens more often than you might think.

It is like 1950/60s animations, such as Tom and jerry, or Donald duck with chip n dale, violence and breaking stuff is the supposedly fun part. Typical opening setting is grizzly doing something peaceful just to get interrupted by hamsters.

It's also loud and flashy, colours have overwhelming HDR effect that every computer game (over)did 10 years ago until everyone got sick of it.

Fun for all ages!

Ok, I'm well past my second childhood and into my third...and I love it! Found it by accident one night when idly browsing the channels, as you do, and now I try not to miss it with my supper.

And, with my MLitt mortarboard on, I note that endings aren't really 'happy' --ie 'resolved' in the traditional manner. Which is like life, much of the time, neh?

Some adult viewers might consider that it plays too much with Newton's laws...I can't resist the pun that it lacks gravity...but isn't that part of the fun? If your kid laughs at it, doesn't that mean that they have some appreciation of why it's screwy?

As a young relative of mine replied when queried about violence in James Bond pics: "I know it's only pretend."

A subtle lesson...

Awesome - Need To Watch!

This show is so much fun!! Our grandchildren love it and they laugh constantly. The boys are 5 and 7. This show reminds me of Wiley Coyote and the Roadrunner which we loved as children.

Story line: A grizzly lives in the Canadian north with a group of lemmings along with some penguins and walruses. This is pure slapstick comedy with no political junk, no language and just pure enjoyment.

It has very good writing and amazing graphics, and the characters remind me of the Minions. It is so wonderful to see something original these days. This is great fun and I'm hoping they make many more seasons.

Mind Trash

My little brother (7 years old) has been watching this show for years on repeat. How can he watch the exact same thing over and over again without getting bored? Every episode is exactly the same. I'll tell you how. Everything on the screen is in bright colours, is always moving, and there are sound effects every five seconds. All appeal to young children. I saw another review on here about how their child just sat in front of the TV, not laughing, smiling, just staring blank-eyed. My brother does the exact same thing! I'm 13 and even I can see that this is terrible for you. He's not gaining anything from watching these, not morale, education. Nothing. It's just brain rot designed to draw young children in, slowly destroying their attention spans. DO NOT LET YOUR CHILD WATCH THIS SHOW!

Perfectly goofy kid show

My 3.5 yr old LOVES this show. He is constantly laughing out loud and pretends he's grizzy. My almost 2 year old laughs at it too; whether she actually knows what she's laughing at is up for debate. It is a perfectly goofy kid show that I don't have to worry about content wise. It's my go to distraction for the kids when I need to cook dinner. Please keep making more season!
