Price of Freedom

I can also recommend this as the previous reviewer has done. But I do understand if this movie is not something you want to watch. It is something people would be calling a downer. The drama that ensues here ... it is powerful, but it also is not what some would call escapism, which is something people do when watching movies.

Just want to make clear, this is not an easy movie to watch and is not something that is on the entertainment side of things. This is about a true story (or probably stories) about oppression, about the fight for free speech and so much more. And tough choices one has to make ... would you risk your life for the truth? Would you rebel against something that is not right, even if you knew the danger you'd get yourself in and also even if you knew there aren't too many chances it will do any good? Tough choices all around.

The movie is very well acted and you can understand how people react, even if you would choose not to do those things. You also understand the frustration at bureaucracy, but also that the anger at the working people is not helping either. And yet still, do you blame the frustrated person for yelling? Yes one could move on and just do what they're being told ... but we're not all wired the same way ... and being submissive is not always the right choice ... even if it may be the only one a person has (in order to survive - pun very much intended) ...
