Trivia

Benjamin l'éléphant

Edit
Jürgen Kluckert was also voicing Benjamin in the most of the episodes of the TV show Benjamin Blümchen (1988), as well as in the original audio play since episode 81, in both cases replacing Edgar Ott.
After playing King Alfons in Jim Bouton : La Cité des dragons (2018) this is the second time for Uwe Ochsenknecht to play a political leader in a children film.
Through the entire movie Karla Kolumna says her trademark line "Sensational" only once, in the middle of the movie while in the TV series and audio plays she says it several times per episode.
Almost the entire movie was filmed in front of a green-screen. Therefore in the entire movie nothing green is visible on clothes or objects. It is mostly noticeable on the outfit of Otto, who is wearing a yellow shirt and red sleeves while in the original cartoon and on the audio play covers he is wearing a yellow shirt with green sleeves.
