Better Lovers have released a new single, “The Flowering,” ahead of their upcoming North American tour.
The supergroup is comprised of former Dillinger Escape Plan singer Greg Puciato alongside ex-Every Time I Die members Jordan Buckley, Clayton “Goose” Holyoak, and Stephen Micciche, as well as Fit for an Autopsy’s Will Putney. The band’s debut single, “30 Under 13,” topped our list of the 30 Best Metal & Hard Rock Songs of 2023.

“The Flowering” has been in the band’s live repertoire since its first concert, but is only now being released as a proper studio recording.
Verses are structured around breakneck-speed riffs and fast tempos, which are slowed down to deliberate chugs for the chorus breakdowns. Meanwhile, Puciato bounces back and forth between harsh screams and layered melodies, complimenting the guitar arrangement. It sounds like a song written specifically for the live setting — a perfect drop before the tour.

Former Every Time I Die singer Keith Buckley’s new band Many Eyes have unveiled their debut single, “Revelation,” and it’s an absolute crusher of a track.
The tune features Buckley in full scream mode during the verses, with a clean-sung chorus. Musically, Buckley’s new bandmates — brothers Nick and Charlie Bellmore — deliver a powerhouse instrumental.
“‘Revelation’ is about recognizing evil and having the courage, the wisdom and the faith to face it directly,” Buckley said in a press release. “I hope anyone who listens to this song feels empowered to confront injustice, no matter what form it takes in their lives.”
It’s all systems go for Buckley and company right out of the gates. A full album is on the way, as is a recently announced 2024 US tour with Thursday and Rival Schools.

Women-centric filmsWith the pandemic accelerating the growth of Ott in the past year, several women-centric films and movies with well-rounded female characters have come to the fore.Saradha UScreengrab/Amazon Prime VideoFor long, female characters in mainstream Indian cinema have been pushed to the side-lines. More often than not, the sole purpose of the female lead in romantic entertainers and action dramas was to support the male lead and help him accomplish his dreams. Among the host of reasons cited for women stars not taking centre stage was that they do not have the same kind of box-office openings as their male counterparts. Over-the-top (Ott) platforms are credited with changing this by creating a level-playing field for all actors. With the coronavirus pandemic accelerating the growth of streaming platforms, numerous women-centric projects have released on major Ott platforms like Disney Plus Hotstar, Amazon Prime Video, Netflix, Sony Liv and Zee 5 in the past year.

ReviewAbortion has often been demonised on screen, and 'Sara's' is refreshing in taking a different view of the issue.Sowmya RajendranAnna Ben's big, bright smile can lighten up the darkest hellhole, and perhaps you need an actor with this amount of on screen likeability to play Sara in Jude Anthany Joseph's latest release that examines a woman's right to abortion. Although the Medical Termination of Pregnancy Act in India is fairly liberal, abortion has many a time been equated with 'baby murder' in cinema. Don Palathara's Santhoshathinte Onnam Rahasyam, which premiered at the International Film Festival of Kerala earlier this year, also explored a similar theme but with just the couple in focus, traveling to the hospital in a car. Sara's, however, involves the entire family circus. Anna Ben plays Sara, an assistant director, who is looking to make her first feature film (she somehow lives...

It took 17 episodes — not that anyone is counting — to find out the titular answer to Who Killed Sara?, but the soapy Netflix drama’s Season 2 finale finally delivered… for the most part.
First, the backstory had to be established: Sara was at home alone after Alex, Rodolfo and Chema went to the gym, and she was playing around with Chema’s camcorder when a wet and deranged-looking Abel broke in her house. Looking a little too much like a Scooby-Doo villain, Abel demanded that his long-lost daughter give him some more money so he could stay on the lam from the asylum.

Titled “The Two Faces of Sara,” the installment kicked off with a flashback of Sara having a psychotic break and attacking her mother and best friend, Marifer, before casually sauntering off to hang out with Alex and Rodolfo as if nothing had happened.

DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, the stoner little brother of the CW DC television universe, is on its way back in May, and Den of Geek is psyched to give you an exclusive first look at the new poster. In keeping with the show’s themes, it’s a subdued period piece.
The poster features all the returning cast members – Caity Lotz as White Canary Sara Lance; her girlfriend, Ava Sharpe (Jes Macallan); Matt Ryan as the platonic ideal of John Constantine; Nick Zano as the heart and soul (and liver) of the Waverider, Shotgun Nate Heywood; Tala Ashe’s Zari Tarazi; and Dominic Purcell as Heat Wave. The poster also features new regulars – the delightful Gary (Adam Tsekhman); Constantine fixer-upper success story Astra Logue (Olivia Swann); Behrad Tarazi (Shayan Sobhian), Zari’s brother and the superhero equivalent of Schrodinger’s sibling; and newcomer Lisseth Chavez as Spooner Cruz, a...

It's no wonder that Who Killed Sara? has become such a sensation on Netflix! The ten-episode murder mystery is packed to the brim with soapy twists, gasp-worthy drama, and more questions than answers. A second season has already been ordered and will arrive in less than two months, so we won't have to wait long for more answers. In the meantime, let's break down everything that happened on that wild season finale!
Who Actually Killed Sara?
By the time the credits roll on season one, we still don't know who killed Sara, although we have some ideas. Right now, the most likely suspect seems to be Rodolfo's mother, Mariana, with an assist from Elroy. In flashback, we discover that Mariana found out that Sara was pregnant and that the father was a Lozcano (more on that in a moment). At first, Mariana pretends to offer support and advice to Sara,...

Netflix's murder mystery Who Killed Sara has become the platform's latest surprise smash hit. Its story of a wrongfully convicted man out to avenge his murdered sister feels like it could be at home alongside many of the popular true crime shows on Netflix, but, in fact, Who Killed Sara is a wholly fictional story.
The closest tie the show has to real life is actually the name of the twisted family at the story's center. The Lazcanos share a name with Heriberto Lazcano Lazcano, an infamous Mexican drug lord who, as the leader of the powerful Los Zetas drug cartel, was one of the most wanted Mexican drug lords during his time in power.
Lazcano was a member of the Mexican Army special forces and received specialized training before deserting, according to CNN Mexico. After being hired as an enforcer for the Gulf Cartel, Lazcano and his allies formed their own paramilitary group,...

Trigger warning: The following article mentions suicide and suicidal thoughts.
With a name like Who Killed Sara?, it was assumed that we'd find out who killed the titular Sara by the end of the first season. With its new Spanish-language series, which premiered March 24, Netflix fooled us all by ending the show with one hell of a cliffhanger. Although we still don't officially know who killed Sara, we at least have a few ideas, and it also seems like Netflix is poised to give us answers when the second season premieres on May 19. Not only does the first season end with a brief look at season two, but Netflix Latin America recently posted a full-length trailer announcing the season two release date.

She will be a regular part of the program, now titled “GMA3: What You Need To Know.”
Holmes takes on his new duties starting Monday, September 21. He has filled in for Robach on occasion on the afternoon program.

"It's okay! This has happened before." Gravitas has debuted a new trailer for the indie horror film Every Time I Die, which premiered at the Cinquest Film Festival earlier this year. We originally featured a trailer back then, but the film is opening in just a few weeks and they've cooked up another one to watch. The film is a twisted time loop thriller, about a disturbed young man with a mysterious past whose tragic death is just the beginning of his troubles. The big flip with this is that it's told from the perspective of a guy who's dead but appears inside other people, and tries to stop his killer from striking again. Drew Fonteiro stars, with an indie cast including Marc Menchaca, Lia Johnson, Michelle Macedo, and Melissa Macedo. This looks like a cool twist on the usual murder mystery horror films, and it seems like it might be worth a watch.
