Better Lovers have released a new single, “The Flowering,” ahead of their upcoming North American tour.

The supergroup is comprised of former Dillinger Escape Plan singer Greg Puciato alongside ex-Every Time I Die members Jordan Buckley, Clayton “Goose” Holyoak, and Stephen Micciche, as well as Fit for an Autopsy’s Will Putney. The band’s debut single, “30 Under 13,” topped our list of the 30 Best Metal & Hard Rock Songs of 2023.

“The Flowering” has been in the band’s live repertoire since its first concert, but is only now being released as a proper studio recording.

Verses are structured around breakneck-speed riffs and fast tempos, which are slowed down to deliberate chugs for the chorus breakdowns. Meanwhile, Puciato bounces back and forth between harsh screams and layered melodies, complimenting the guitar arrangement. It sounds like a song written specifically for the live setting — a perfect drop before the tour.

Exclusive: Filming is underway in Los Angeles at Stay Lucky Studios for horror-comedy Thinestra, starring twin sisters Melissa Macedo (Girlboss) and Michelle Macedo (Every Time I Die). Directed by Nathan Hertz in their feature directorial debut, and written by Avra Fox-Lerner, the cast also features Brian Huskey (Veep) Shannon Dang (Kung Fu), Gavin Stenhouse (Kung Fu) and comedian Mary Beth Barone.

Thinestra takes place during a Christmas heat wave in Los Angeles. The story follows Penny, who, unhappy with her full-bodied physique, is on a restrictive diet, brutal workout regimen, & overall wellness binge. One day, at the photo studio where Penny works as a retoucher, an austere model gives Penny a baggie of sketchy diet pills. Soon after, following an awkward Christmas party, Penny loses her conviction & stuffs herself with cookies.

Former Every Time I Die singer Keith Buckley’s new band Many Eyes have unveiled their debut single, “Revelation,” and it’s an absolute crusher of a track.

The tune features Buckley in full scream mode during the verses, with a clean-sung chorus. Musically, Buckley’s new bandmates — brothers Nick and Charlie Bellmore — deliver a powerhouse instrumental.

“‘Revelation’ is about recognizing evil and having the courage, the wisdom and the faith to face it directly,” Buckley said in a press release. “I hope anyone who listens to this song feels empowered to confront injustice, no matter what form it takes in their lives.”

It’s all systems go for Buckley and company right out of the gates. A full album is on the way, as is a recently announced 2024 US tour with Thursday and Rival Schools.

Former Every Time I Die frontman Keith Buckley has revealed his new band, Many Eyes.

The outfit sees Buckley teaming up with brothers Charlie and Nick Bellmore on guitars and drums, respectively. The duo previously worked with Hatebreed’s Jamey Jasta and Twisted Sister’s Dee Snider, among others. A debut single, “Revelation,” is set to drop Friday (October 13th) via Jasta’s label, Perseverance Media Group, and Jasta is also serving as executive producer of Many Eyes’ forthcoming debut album.

Buckley made the reveal via the band’s new social media account on X (formerly Twitter), sharing the following in a video post:

Until now, we’d only heard the stellar lead single “30 Under 13” from the band, which features ex-Dillinger Escape Plan vocalist Greg Puciato, guitarist Will Putney (Fit for an Autopsy), and three former members of Every Time I Die: guitarist Jordan Buckley, Stephen Micciche, and drummer Clayton Holyoak.

The EP is comprised of “30 Under 13” and three additional tracks: “Sacrificial Participant,” “Become So Small,” and the title cut “God Made Me an Animal.”

“Surprise! Our debut EP, God Made Me an Animal, is out now,” the band shared in a collective statement. “Four eclectic and wildly fun songs we’ve been kicking around for what feels like forever, it’s great to finally have these out in the world. Let it happen to you. Hear all this and more on tour all Summer. The engine is turned on.

Underoath and The Ghost Inside have announced a co-headlining Summer 2023 North American tour. We Came As Romans and the just-formed supergroup Better Lovers will support the trek.

After Underoath and The Ghost Inside play the Inkcarceration festival on July 15th, the tour will properly kick off on July 16th in Chicago. The month-long run wraps up August 19th in Santa Ana, California.

An artist pre-sale has already begun via Ticketmaster using the code Letgo. A Live Nation pre-sale begins Thursday (April 20th) using the code Vinyl, while a general sale starts Friday (April 21st). The band is comprised of singer Greg Puciato (ex-Dillinger Escape Plan), guitarist Will Putney (Fit for an Autopsy), and three ex-members of Every Time I Die: guitarist Jordan Buckley, drummer Clayton “Goose” Holyoak, and bassist Stephen Micciche.

The fiery single “30 Under 13” features Puciato in full scream mode during the chaotic verses before delivering a clean vocal for the trippy chorus. At the 2:15 mark, the track goes high-speed hardcore.

Leading out of that, 4400 (no The) debuted to 540K — the CW time slot’s largest audience since Dec. 28, 2020 — and a 0.1 demo rating. TVLine readers gave the reboot an average grade of “C+.”

Looking a little too much like a Scooby-Doo villain, Abel demanded that his long-lost daughter give him some more money so he could stay on the lam from the asylum.

The third hour of ABC’s “Good Morning America,” initially created as a showcase for softer stuff, is formally taking on a harder edge.

So much so, it was announced today that the actress has signed a lucrative new deal with Blumhouse that will see her producing new movies and TV shows, including her directorial debut Mother Nature. This news came from an official press release direct from Blumhouse.

Actress, director, producer, author and activist Jamie Lee Curtis has signed a three-year, first look deal via her company, Comet Pictures, with Blumhouse for both film and television. Russell Goldman has also been appointed as Head of Development for film and television at Comet Pictures. Blumhouse and Comet Pictures's first collaboration is the horror film, Mother Nature, which is centered around climate change. Curtis will direct the film that Goldman and she are writing together.

Already, Comet and Blumhouse have a feature horror project underway, Mother Nature, which is centered around climate change. Curtis is directing and she is co-writing with Comet Pictures Head of Film and TV Development, Russell Goldman, who was recently named to the post.

“I’m 61 and my motto now is: ‘If not now, when, if not me, who?’ I’m excited to have a creative home to explore my own ideas and others. Jason and his team have made me feel welcome. Comet is ready to bring these stories to screen life,” Jamie Lee Curtis tells Deadline in a statement.

Two-time Academy Award nominee Jacki Weaver will join Naomi Watts and Andrew Lincoln in the family drama “Penguin Bloom.”

Weaver will portray the mother of Watts’ character in the drama, which follows a young family on Sydney’s northern beaches who must come to terms with a near-fatal accident that leaves their mother paralyzed. As they learn to adjust to her new situation, an unlikely ally enters their lives in the form of an injured Magpie chick, dubbed “Penguin” by the family.

"It's okay! This has happened before." Gravitas has debuted a new trailer for the indie horror film Every Time I Die, which premiered at the Cinquest Film Festival earlier this year. We originally featured a trailer back then, but the film is opening in just a few weeks and they've cooked up another one to watch. The film is a twisted time loop thriller, about a disturbed young man with a mysterious past whose tragic death is just the beginning of his troubles. The big flip with this is that it's told from the perspective of a guy who's dead but appears inside other people, and tries to stop his killer from striking again. Drew Fonteiro stars, with an indie cast including Marc Menchaca, Lia Johnson, Michelle Macedo, and Melissa Macedo. This looks like a cool twist on the usual murder mystery horror films, and it seems like it might be worth a watch.
