Really bad on purpose, for those who can appreciate that sort of thing

LA AIDS Jabber is a very crude and tasteless no budget exploitation/horror movie. A guy finds out he has tested positive for HIV and goes on a revenge rampage in Los Angeles by stabbing people with a syringe and infecting them with his blood. This is really bad and for a specific audience that has an appetite for the outrageous with a morbid sense of humor. As I said, this film was made for very little money and it shows. The movie looks like complete crap and the acting is horrible. That's really the appeal of the movie that is so technically bad and offensive to the point of being absolutely stupid. LA AIDS Jabber is simply ridiculous and absurd. In reality, HIV/AIDS is no laughing matter as it has taken the lives of many. But the film, but the film is so awesomely bad I can't help but laughing at how stupid and unashamedly offensive it is.

L. A. AIDS Jabber had some promise but ultimately falls short.

I recently watched L. A. AIDS Jabber (1994) on Tubi. The storyline follows a man who becomes enraged with the world after he's diagnosed with AIDS. Armed with a syringe 💉 filled with his own blood, he sets out to seek revenge on those he blames for his misfortune and unhappiness.

This film was written and directed by Drew Godderis in his sole directorial project and stars Jason Majik (A Dangerous Place), Marcy Lynn, Justin Mack (Teen Perspective), and Susan Para (Death Riders).

Everything about this movie feels distinctly low-budget. The cinematography, acting, and dialogue all have a "made-for-TV" quality that's hard to ignore. While the premise had potential, and I actually appreciated the direction they attempted to take, the execution leaves much to be desired. That said, the blood collection and injection scenes were done surprisingly well. The storyline is straightforward and engaging enough to keep you watching, but unfortunately, the conclusion comes off as cheesy and predictable.

In summary, L. A. AIDS Jabber had some promise but ultimately falls short. I'd rate it a 4/10 and would only recommend it if you're in the mood for something unusual and go in with the right expectations.
