Rocket and Groot is the series of shorts about the famous duo relating to Guardians of the Galaxy. It revolves them being bounty hunters trying to get enough credits to get a new ship. I find each episode is pretty much a twelfth of a big episode, mainly because the plot point is heavily carried over for each one.
I find it good shorts revolving around members of the Guardians of the Galaxy, though I prefer I Am Groot. Probably because each episode of I Am Groot is about something different from the previous. As well, I prefer the MCU designs of the characters.
Overall, a good series and would be a good series to show children.

Rocket & Groot (2017) is a series that my daughter and I recently watched on Disney+. The storyline follows our bounty hunting best friends as they travel the Galaxy collecting bounties as they try to save enough money to buy a new ship.
This series was directed by Arnaud Delord (Arcane) and contains the voices of Kevin Michael Richardson (Mortal Kombat) and Trevor Devall (Abominable).
The animation for this was unique and well done. I really enjoyed the depiction of the universe, aliens and the various space encounters. The dialogue was hilarious as was the back and forth between Groot and Rocket. My only complaint is that this could have been one short movie rather than a bunch of 1 minute and 45 second segments.
Overall, this is an entertaining watch with your children that I would strongly recommend. I would score this an 8/10 and would love a second season.

After the success of the movie adaptation of Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy comics, it was only natural that the two breakout characters, space bounty hunters Rocket Raccoon and his tree-like best friend and sidekick Groot, get their own spin-off show(s). This is one of them and it's possibly the most entertaining one yet.
The show's format is episodic with each episode being about minute and a half in length and following the various stages of Rocket's plan to accumulate enough money from bounties and other quests to buy himself and Groot a brand new spaceship.
The show is solidly written, the story is told efficiently, the animation is stylish, the characters and the situations they find themselves in are fun (if occasionally cliched), funny and, most importantly, engaging, and the outcome, although more or less predictable, does not leave you unsatisfied for spending precious 25 minutes of your spare time on this show.
If you are a fan of these characters, space adventures or stylish animation in general you will most likely enjoy the show.
As for the show's target audience, it tries to entertain both adults and kids.
The characters from the films or the comics (save for possibly one) do not show up here since this is, first and foremost, Rocket and Groot's little yarn.

Fairly entertaining, has an animation that is very to my liking, I enjoyed it a lot.

This is the funniest show! And we're talking about two of my ultimate favorite characters in the whole Marvel Universe, great plot and really interesting!
