Buddy Thunderstruck

Having just watched all episodes back to back, I am gobsmacked that the show was cancelled. Why was it cancelled? It was full of well developed characters, plotlines, action, morality and had a formidable cast. It was doing better than many other shows of the time and could have had a long future on our screens! How very disappointing that The Unit was not deemed good enough to stay... If they could resurrect the show, 3-4yrs after it ended, I would be one of the first infront of my TV screen to watch it!

What may have happened to Bugs Bunny had he taken that left turn at Albuquerque. The voice characterizations are worthy of Mel Blanc. The animation is fantastic, not because it is perfect but because it is so visceral! When Buddy praises himself you want to agree and clap. The banter between characters is so cleaver. It is a shame that we could not have unlimited awesomeness of Buddy.

WHY (the hell this) GOT THIS CANCELLED??? Is beyond me. This show is crafted with so much love for detail and artistry that i would belief it got canceled due to production cost, because it's really a gem. The characters are so vivid and enjoyable. The jokes and action are so witty and fun that the parents will binge the show after the kids are in bed. The storylines are well taught out and the message and moral are eventually always very positive. Yes it's not for 4 y olds in therms of violence, aggression and random stupidity but it's a genuine "boys & dad show" that will offer dad a great tv moment with his sons (and maybee some daughters too) anyway this show needs another season or two, toys, game and a 4 minute soundtrack/ album by ACDC.

Gosh, I love this show. The main character is like a more likable Johnny Bravo who's a celebrity truck racer in a small town, and the show revolves around the ridiculous adventures of him and his friends, sometimes with high-speed car races, sometimes with run-of-the-mill things that get taken to some absolutely silly places. It's like Talladega Nights and Corner Gas had a magnificent stop-motion baby.

It's got tons of really silly, lighthearted humour, great characters & voice acting, and the animation is really well-done. Also, I'm a big fan of all the little original songs written for the show (mostly they're played in the end credits, but sometimes they're in the episodes themselves, and they're pretty entertaining). And it's good for all ages, so you can watch it with kids without worrying about the content. I definitely can't wait for a second season.
