According to Chris D'Elia while shooting a scene his costar, Cuba Gooding Jr. received word that his father had passed away. Instead of canceling shooting for the day, Cuba just requested a few mins to collect himself and returned to finish the scene.
At the point of the filming Jaden Smith, who was playing a 17-year old, was 22. Cara Delevingne, who was playing his girlfriend (also 17), was 28.
Cara Delevingne has starred alongside both Jaden Smith and his father Will Smith. Delevingne starred with Will Smith in Suicide Squad.
