The Expanse Season 6 Cast Guide: New & Returning Characters
Image
Much like the sci-fi show's ambitious plot, The Expanse cast grew larger with each succeeding season, and the sixth and last season is no exception. Based on the book series of the same name written by Ty Franck and Daniel Abraham under the pen name James S.A. Corey, The Expanse centers on the vast political conflicts between the powers of Earth, Mars, and the Asteroid Belt 300 years in the future. In The Expanse season 6, these conflicts culminate in a system-wide war waged by Belter terrorist Marco Inaros and the Free Navy, whose asteroid attack on Earth has left the planet in shambles.

Newly reinstated Un Secretary General Chrisjen Avasarala looked to coordinate the joint Earth-Mars fleet with James Holden and the crew of the Rocinante in an effort to defeat the Free Navy. Concurrently, Camina Drummer and what remained of her crew evaded Marco's forces in the Belt after betraying...

Addison Timlin in Trailer for Life-Like Robot Sci-Fi Thriller 'Life Like'
"Henry, were you dreaming?" "Dreamt I was human..." Lionsgate has debuted a trailer for an indie sci-fi thriller titled Life Like, which heading straight-to-vod this May. No surprise once you see the trailer, this looks pretty awful. It's one of those sci-fi films that tries to play with a cool concept, but really turns out to be some mushy, cheesy waste of time. Addison Timlin and Drew Van Acker star as a couple who get a lifelike robot to help them with work. At first, android Henry is quiet and hard-working. But as his AI kicks in, he "starts to anticipate the couple's needs and desires, ones they themselves cannot fully understand." What will happen next? Of course, he's going to ruin everything and kill one of them. How else would this progress. Also starring Steven Strait, James D'Arcy, and Mark Famiglietti. This is one worth skipping. Here's the first...

Like Me Trailer: Addison Timlin Goes on A Social Media Crime Spree
Addison Timlin in Like Me (2017)
Kino Lorber has debuted the exciting first trailer for the psychedelic horror thriller Like Me, in theaters January 26. An impressive first feature from Robert Mockler, Like Me stars Addison Timlin in a mesmerizing breakthrough performance. Indie horror maven Larry Fessenden co-stars and produces. The cast is rounded out by Ian Nelson, Larry Fessenden, and Jeremy Gardner.

A reckless loner (Addison Timlin) sets out on a crime spree that she broadcasts on social media. After releasing a video of herself robbing a convenience store, she amasses a huge following. While traveling along the coast, she encounters a drifter, an Internet troll, and a paint huffing outsider who are all pulled into her circle of chaos, junk food, and drugs. Robert Mockler's visually arresting debut feature takes the viewer into a world of fabricated personalities and offers a thought-provoking portrait of isolation in our increasingly digital world.

Addison began her career with the 2000/2001 National Tour of Annie.

Saboteur Media launches production, sales, finance venture
Exclusive: Sales and distribution veteran Mark Lindsay to introduce five new titles to Cannes buyers.

New York-based Saboteur Media has launched a production and finance operation with a broader sales remit and hired former Miramax International senior executive Mark Lindsay as president of distribution.

The moves comes as executive director Nick Quested expands the suite of services beyond those of documentary distributor and sales company initially launched under the auspices of Goldcrest Films.

Saboteur now operates as a stand-alone entity that produces, finances and sells narrative and documentary features, with particular emphasis on empowering the New York creative community and an opportunistic eye towards television.

The company has the ability to finance tax credits and invest equity in select projects, which will not rely on pre-sales in order to get greenlight. It serves as co-producer on all five titles headed for Cannes.

Lindsay, whose executive roles have included head of sales and distribution at Kimmel International, Arclight...
