Saif Ali Khan and Rohan Mehra in Baazaar (2018)

Very good watch, except I wish they stuck to one theme !!!

How I wish the story maintained consistency thruout. It felt like there is a solid chemistry between two strong people. One was Saifs character who has his ground set, winner attitude and such great charm. The other character of Rohan in the beginning of the movie comes across as really solid, challenging character, so much so that thru out the movie I was expecting some sparkling smartness out of him, which sadly never happened. Instead the ending took away what's good of Saif's and Rohan's character. All in all the movie is good. Loved saif's character and the plot.

Good acting

A good plot with lots of predictable twists.

Some unrealistic potrayal of trading and office environment..

Nobody would go to an extent of spitting in a cup to show arrogance. And 8 people in a busy office cannot get free instantly to interview a random guy.

Saif is at his best but Rizwaan is the weak part of the movie

Best movie interms of saif performance but let down performance and appearance of Rizwaan's character...

He can't act as per movie situations and can't able to handle movie's charm...

Same expression at all the way he looks over smart in many situations without any reason

Again Saif is at his best !!!!!

👍👍👍👍

Fresh concept but badly executed

Bazaar is perhaps one of the very few movies in Bollywood which shows the underbelly of the financial market. Hence I will like to praise the writers for the fresh subject matter. But having said that, unfortunately the film with it's predictable plot and cliched characters doesn't sustain that freshness for much long. At the beginning, the lead character of Rizwan seems promising with it's small-town-background-with-big dreams storyline. But soon after coming to Mumbai it turns into something tacky and "Bollywoodish".

Only relief comes from Saif Ali Khan's character. He is the star of the film. I wish the film had not given away so much space to Rizwan. Rohan was totally a misfit for the character and his performance was nothing short of being cringe-worthy.

And what can I say about the obsession for songs. They were a complete deal breaker for me. Weird songs. All sorts of songs. One remix. One Honey Singh. One with Rahat Fateh Ali Khan even. But none of them works for the story. I think it is high time Bollywood Studios should start reevaluate putting songs in between shots for no reason. Ruins the whole mood.

Special mention for the weirdly choppy editing. It made an illusion of fast pace even with a slow and stretched script.

Bazaar- Stock Market

Its a good movie mixed of lots of stories of Stock Market and dialougues from top Stock market legends who actually made money. Insider news, how big players create news. STRONG role of Saif Ali Khan!

Good Idea ..some bad mixture!

Bazaar have good plot which is little bit similar to Hollywood wall street films but the MIXING and jumping Bollywood masala like songs ( very bad songs ) and Dilouges war made it in many ways horrible, Saif Ali Khan did justice by his act as well for Rohan Mehra but he should work in his expressions ! One time watch

3 out of 5 Hamad Saif Al Reyami

Good work Saif / Radhika / Rohan.

Good performances by Saif / Radhika and of course Rohan. loved some of the dialogues at the ones that were relevant to the gujarati language - Ghanto Marathon :).

Saif is the soul of the movie

What a genuine actor he is! I was hesitant to book the ticket for this one simply because i thought its a rip off of the Hollywood movies related to stocks but i was also interested because i like Saif in this type of roles. After i watched all i have to say is that Saif deserves all the appreciation for his wonderful performance after a long time.

Movie worth watching if...

Except for SAK and Chitra this movie's casting was really bad consequently letting the movie down..in some cases the plot's were predictable too... Nevertheless it's a movie worth watching if anyone can put up with Rizwan's(who was trying to be cool but his acting and expression failed him.. Ultimately making him look like a looser) and radhika's acting......😒😒

Full of loopholes & cliche sequences

How can someone sell an owner's shares without his consent and without coming into limelight? Almost all scenes were eye rolling! We were bored to death. Only Saif's acting is amazing. Poor he, wasted his time.

Good thriller movie

Brilliant movie. Good entertainment. Thriller is maintained throughout the movie. Saif has well lifted the movie and good supported by others like Radhika Apte and Chitrangadha singh. Surprise package is Rohan Mehra. He stood well against Saif.

Bazaar mehenga film thodi sasti!!!!!!

The movie is actually a mixed bag .......sometimes it feels super awesome while sometime it is dull....the movie feels little stretchy specially in 1st half though the second half is good.....and covers for the 1st......saif Ali Khan has done a good job....while rizwan means rohan and radhika apte are above avg. Direction screenplay and music everything is avg. While writing of movie is good...2-3 suspense are awesome......watch it for saif ali Khan .....3/5 from my side......a 1 time watch.....

Good one

A superb movie with twists taking turns. The only thing that saif was already shown as a bad one from beginning so we knew that he will destroy the other actor rizwaan, which was predictable. apart from that a great acting by all, nice story ans theme good dialogue... in short a good one

Good performances, interesting story

U r the hero of the movie #Baazaar. U have come up the hard way. Today u r a shrewd n successful businessman. But u only understand the term 'profit'. U dont understand other important terms like family, emotion, trust, loyalty. U want to win the rat race at any cost. Then u meet a young, small town, ambitious man who idolizes u. U employ him, but u ruin his life. What happens next? Good performances, interesting story n able direction r the plus points. Worth watching. Rating 3/5.

Movie reminded me of 'Harshad Mehta' and 'Ketan Parekh'

Great movie unless you are someone accustomed to cliche romantic movies. This movie will have a second part in next 2 years.

One time watch

The movie is a bit too stretchy and could have been ended sooner. Acting wise, superb work done by each and everyone. But Saif Ali Khan deserves a separate mention for his act. Very good.

could have been better

Saif ali khan was too good for this movie, a brilliant actor but again with a weak movie. Plot, story everything was good but the movie could have been better in so many ways. Chitrangada Singh, pretty as always, with little screen time, whereas she could have played more. Radhika Apte the very usual and nothing extra in this movie. Rohan Mehra the leading actor with some serious disappointing acting. Not at all up to the mark and one the reason the movie wont hit you. One time watch if there is nothing better.

Best movie so far in 2018

Really loved the intensed thrillee movie after a long time. No one can beat saif when it comes to intense macho masculine movies. Worth a watch absolutely.

A business entertainer

When I started watching the movie I thought it was just about business and how a common boy achieves his dream. But it turned to different direction showing little the black side of stock market and how over ambition can sometime lead you to a pit. With a good story line the actors have done complete justice to their roles. Especially Saif is seen in a complete new avatar. He should do this kind of Antihero Roles.

too much cringe

Slow story, overacting, emotional drama. could have been better if the story was more deep and more realistic

Only for saif.10/10

If u ask me saif is the real star , who make the movie watchable , he is the real , greedy , glorieous men, except all , movie has soo many songs , unwanted scenes , unwanted plots and there must have been much more suspense , but they lose that bcz they already had soo many songs taken the time already . So its a much watch because we really dnt get much too watch movies of share market , but nothing much informating , old school ideas . My rating 6/10 Saif ali khan , the real nawab .

Neatly lifted from Wall Street (1987)

The original - Wall Street (1987) is a much better movie with a more realistic setting. Although Baazaar in itself is not a bad movie at all, considerable amount of research is put into the movie. I absolutely enjoyed Saif Ali Khan's character "Shakun Kothari" which falls perfectly as an Indian version of the lengendary Gordon Gekko. Despite of its attempt, Baazaar kind of gives a blockbuster feeling and ends little poorly - probably they ran out of ideas, whereas the original ended on a very hopeless and dark note. A poor remake of a perfect Classic.
