“9-1-1: Nashville” is continuing to build out its cast, with the upcoming ABC drama adding four new cast members.
Variety has learned that Hailey Kilgore, Michael Provost, Juani Feliz, and Hunter McVey have all been cast in the “9-1-1” offshoot at the broadcast network. They join previously announced cast members Chris O’Donnell, Jessica Capshaw, LeAnn Rimes, and Kimberly Williams-Paisley.
Reps for ABC and 20th Television declined to comment.
The official logline for the series describes it as “a high-octane procedural about our heroic first responders, as well as their family saga of power and glamour set in one of America’s most diverse and dynamic cities.”
Kilgore will play Taylor, described as “a firefighter and incredible singer.” Kilgore is herself an accomplished singer, having received Tony and Grammy Award nominations for her role in the Broadway revival of “Once on This Island.” She also has a solo album due out later this year.

Fire Country has continued its red hot ascent up the ratings on CBS, and now, its eyes are set on a spinoff. Sheriff Country, which is set to follow characters introduced in the main series, is set to air during the 2025-26 season. We've already met Mickey Fox (Morena Baccarin), but Sheriff Country recently added faces that will be brand new to the franchise.
Christopher Gorham has been cast as Travis, the ex-husband of Mickey Fox. The two share a child together, a daughter named Skye, and remain forces in each others lives, which can sometimes lead to complicated feelings. Travis and Mickey are split up, but it doesn't mean the possibility of romance is completely off the table.

As the highly anticipated spin-off series Sheriff Country starts to take shape at CBS, new names start getting added to the slate of main stars. The spin-off is yet to get a release date, but at this point CBS is eyeing the 2025-2026 schedule to debut the first season, probably close to its mothership series Fire Country.
While CBS hasn't unveiled a full synopsis for Sheriff Country, we do know that the series will follow no-nonsense Mickey Fox (Morena Baccarin) as she patrols the streets of Edgewater and investigates cases from the small town. She is the stepsister of Fire Country's Sharon Leone (Diane Farr) and the aunt of Bode Donovan (Max Thieriot). The two new...

The long-awaited fourth and final season of HBO's The Righteous Gemstones finally made its premiere on March 9, 2025, and so far the series' swan song has been a big hit with fans and critics. Starring Danny McBride, Adam DeVine, Edi Patterson, John Goodman and Walter Goggins, to name a few, The Righteous Gemstones follows a dysfunctional family of televangelists as they battle to keep their generational empire intact while preaching the gospel.
Kicking off with the episode "Prelude," The Righteous Gemstones Season 4 currently sits at 100% on Rotten Tomatoes, with critics unanimously agreeing that it's one of the best. Featuring an appearance by Bradley Cooper, Jack Hamilton from Slate said in his review that "Season 4 opens with a striking, stand-alone episode that I won't spoil other than to say that it's probably the most ambitious half-hour that the show has ever undertaken." Honestly, this episode of Elsbeth should have been called “The Mama Bear Mittens Are Coming Off.” There was no holding back on this culturally infused installment from everyone’s favorite Chicago attorney.
For one thing, how adorable was Henry, the tour guide? I don’t know who that actor is, but he is popping up more and more in different shows and movies.
However, the award for the most over-the-top acting on Elsbeth goes to Alyssa Milano. Was her character a little too much? Check the fingernails. But what the actor did with the role was epic.
(Michael Parmelee/CBS)
It will be a long time before viewers forget the name Pupetta. Although, that’s probably because the character’s name sounds like a side dish that comes with eggplant parm.

Madeline Matlock might move a little slower than her coworkers, but her mind is a storage room of mental weapons. Matty shut down Shae so fast that I’m surprised the jury consultant didn’t get whiplash.
And how cute was Edwin undercover down in Georgia? As far as twists go, that one was a non-starter, but the series gets points for having fun with it.
Unfortunately for Madeline Matlock, she may have just put herself right in the path of the bull’s horns by trying to cover her own tracks.

Nothing says suspicious like removing the person asking the most questions about you, especially when that person has connections in high and possibly corrupt places.
Speaking of corruption, the case in “A Traitor in Thine Own House” took a backseat to everything else in this episode.
How Can Anyone on Matlock Focus with That Much Handsome in One Episode?...

The Western crime drama Longmire presented plenty of murder mysteries during its six-season run, but one in particular was personal for Sheriff Walt Longmire (Robert Taylor) of Absaroka County, Wyoming. Beginning in season 5 and continuing into Longmire's sixth and final season, Walt finds himself in some serious legal trouble. After real estate developer Barlow Connally (Gerald McRaney) is shot and killed by Walt (an incident purposely orchestrated by Barlow), Barlow’s estate files a wrongful death civil suit against him.
Just when things are looking dire for the sheriff, the lawyer for the plaintiff, a man named Tucker Baggett (Brett Rice), is shot and killed. Naturally, the police like Walt for the murder, but who really killed Tucker and why? With Longmire on the case, the real culprit is a shock to everyone.

Disney+ and Hulu tease “assassinations, political games, conspiracies and spies will collide” in 2025 when Tempest premieres in the United States. Production is currently underway in Seoul.
From writer Chung Seokyung, Tempest follows Seo Munju (Gianna Jun), a highly accomplished diplomat and former ambassador to the United States, and Sanho (Gang Dongwon), an international special agent shrouded in a veil of secrets, as they race to uncover the truth behind an attack that threatens the future stability of the Korean peninsula.
Details regarding who Cho, Gorham, Hannah-Kim and Bertrand will portray are under wraps.
Tempest is directed by Kim Heewon and co-directed by Korean martial arts director Heo Myunghaeng (The Outlaws 4). The series is produced by Imaginus, Showrunners, Studio AA and Action School.
Cho can next be seen in the upcoming sci-fi horror film Afraid opposite Katherine Waterston which opens on August 30. In the early 90s, producer Aaron Spelling and TV creator Darren Star struck primetime drama gold with the high school soap opera Beverly Hills 90210. The show laid the groundwork for some good old-fashioned scheduled viewing for homes waiting to see what kinds of trouble the kids at West Beverly would get into. The show would crossover stars as Beverly’s Dylan and Kelly befriended Melrose resident Jake. And when Heather Locklear was added to the cast, the show’s popularity would skyrocket.

The misadventures of a “weird gamer guy” takes a wickedly fun turn in the 2020s now that Andrew Bowser’s viral internet character lands on the big screen in the new horror-comedy, Onyx the Fortuitous and the Talisman of Souls. The film, written and directed by Bowser, is dubbed “a fun throwback to quirky horror films of the ’90s, filled with magic and humor.”
The plot: Befuddled/loser occultist Marcus J. Trillbury, aka Onyx (Bowser), and a fierce group of worshipers attends a once-in-a-lifetime ritual at the mansion of their idol, Bartok The Great. Horror, comedy, and mayhem ensue in the vein of Beetlejuice. Bowser has been on quite the ride with the project. Folks found the quirky character of Onyx endearing. So much so that Bowser’s alter ego went on to garner more than 300 million views online and more than one million TikTok followers. Take that, golden retriever pups!
