Top notch

I just saw this on Horror Hotel as part of Lamia's valentine episode, and I can see why she picked it. I totally loved it. The writing, top notch. The actors, completely believable. Jezebel, completely captivating. The set and music were great as well.

Some others said they wanted more story. I thought that there was just enough to leave you wanting more, while also giving you the freedom to attach your own ideas of who and what she is.

Totally loved watching it and totally love our Queen for showing it.

beautiful

A short film who you hope / imagine the end from its middle. But this is the fair one. You appreciate the music, atmosphere and what is so precise suggested by the title first. A film about a seductive woman and her source of life. A small, delicate love story. And admirable dialogue, smart story, like the cinematography. For many reasons, an old fashion film. Maybe, a horror. But, no doubts, a very good one.

You get what you pay for

Well actually that is not entirely true - not for the character or when it comes to budgetary things. So no pun intended as always. Short movies can be quite interesting and can show us things that feature length movies may have issues to portray ... or go places that we do not expect.

I would not say that this does anything unexpected though - just in case you were hoping for that. But it is more than solid in its story telling and it looks really good! Not just the actors, but the sets and the cinematography in general.

There are also some special effects and they are also quite good - I would say the movie has the ending one imagines too ... not entirely what one of the characters expected ... but then again, he was not privy to all the facts ... though would he have believed them? It's not just human nature ... and again no pun intended.
