From pumpkin patch outings to girls’ night selfies that could crash the internet, Taylor Swift and Blake Lively’s friendship has long been a Hollywood goal. Whether it’s cozy holidays or surprise shoutouts in lyrics, these two have always had each other’s backs.
However, an unexpected plot twist in 2024 threw their picture-perfect Bff timeline off the course. While Lively geared up for a courtroom face-off with It Ends With Us co-star Justin Baldoni, somehow Swift’s name got dragged into the mess like it was open mic night at the drama club.
Yep, a subpoena aimed at the singer sparked internet chaos and whispers of friendship fallout. Though Baldoni’s team eventually hit the brakes and withdrew the documents, the damage has already been done. Now, everyone’s asking one question- are Lively and Swift still besties or did this legal mayhem throw a wrench into their unshakable sisterhood?...

Taylor Swift’s battle to reclaim the master recordings of her first six albums—Taylor Swift, Fearless, Speak Now, Red, 1989, and Reputation— is well-known and well-documented. Now, the battle has taken a dramatic turn, with Shamrock Capital reportedly looking to sell it to the artist.
While it sounds like excellent news for Swift, the price tag, however, exceeds 66% of Swift’s estimated $1.6 billion net worth. Originally purchased by Shamrock from Scooter Braun’s Ithaca Holdings in 2020 for around $405 million, per Variety, these masters remain a contentious asset. Read on to know more.

Instagram might be free, but one post can cost a reputation or build a lifelong bond. That’s what we thought when we stumbled on the origin story of one of pop culture’s most surprising best friendships: Blake Lively and Taylor Swift.
Look, friendships in fame aren’t sealed with pinky promises; they’re also forged in Instagram captions, voodoo dolls, and pap strolls. Lively and Swift were the epitome of best-friend goals…until the former’s lawsuit against Justin Baldoni allegedly dragged the Blank Space hitmaker into the legal line of fire.
What started in 2015 as a potentially shady moment blossomed into a decade-long closeness involving music videos, godparent titles, and now… a silence so loud it’s hard to ignore. So what happened? And did it really all start with one Instagram post? Yes. And we’ve got every eyebrow-raising detail for you.

On its massive-eyed face, “The Masked Singer” may seem like just a goofy reality competition series, meant for little more than an hour of escapism. And really, it is that. Fox’s singing contest is predicated on sticking various calibers of famous people in insane, occasionally nightmare-fueling costumes, having them perform for a live audience, and letting the audience guess who the voice belongs to.
It’s simple and merry, if occasionally a little obvious (just about everyone clocked Vanessa Hudgens and Amber Riley immediately). But, as it wraps up its 13th season this week, “The Masked Singer” has also become something else entirely, according to those who have competed on it — a surprisingly therapeutic experience.
The show originated in South Korea in 2015, titled “King of Mask Singer.” In 2017, executive producer Craig Plestis, a veteran in reality TV and now the President and CEO of Smart Dog Media, watched an...

It will be complicated by the arrival of a new baddie: Bruegel, who is played by Sons of Anarchy and Prison Break alum Kim Coates.

Ransom Canyon, Netflix’s new Western romance series based on the books by Jodi Thomas, has plenty of opportunities for a good needle drop, and music supervisor Madonna Wade-Reed made sure to take advantage of all kinds of music available to her and especially emotional moments in the series to put song to.
From Gracie’s Dance Hall, owned by Minka Kelly’s Quinn O’Grady, to the raucous rodeo scenes mid-series, many a familiar country artist and other folk bands and groups feature as the backdrop to the storyline, which contains a murder mystery element, several love stories and a struggle over land and territory between ranching dynasties and the development company Austin Water and Power.
One particularly memorable moment involves Josh Duhamel’s Staten Kirkland getting pretty drunk and throwing a Hootie and the Blowfish jam on the jukebox in Quinn’s bar.

Ellen Pompeo appeared on “The Jennifer Hudson Show” and reminisced about her relationship with Taylor Swift. The music icon famously named one of her cats after Pompeo’s “Grey’s Anatomy” character Meredith Grey. Pompeo then appeared in Swift’s “Bad Blood” music video alongside a bevy of A-list stars. The actor said Swift once wrote her a “big old check” for charity just from a simple ask.
“At the time, [my husband] Chris [Ivery] and I, we do a lot of volunteering for Children’s Hospital Los Angeles here,” Pompeo said. “They have an amazing program at Children’s where they make music for the babies in the Nicu. For the parents who have to go to work all day and they can’t be with the kids, they record their voices singing nursery rhymes or telling them stories and they play it for the babies in the day when the parents can’t be there.

When the general public looks back on The X-Files, they picture a dark and serious 1990s show about aliens and government conspiracies. But die-hard fans know that some of the series’ best episodes were a laugh riot.
The show began to churn out a few episodes per season with a comic bent, beginning with the circus freaks episode “Humbug” in Season Two. And “Humbug” writer Darin Morgan, who also wrote a few funny episodes in Season Three, is generally credited with the comedic relief of the early seasons. Morgan, however, only wrote for the show for two seasons (although he returned in 2016 when the show was briefly revived). The writer responsible for the later funny episodes was Vince Gilligan.
Gilligan’s first largely comedic episode was “Small Potatoes,” a caper in which a pathetic man with a tail named Eddie Van Blundht impregnates several women in town by morphing into exact duplicates of their husbands.

A Good Girl's Guide to Murder was released on Netflix in August 2024 after taking off as Holly Jackson's hit debut young adult crime series by the same name. The streamer played it smart by casting Emma Myers, already known for Enid Sinclair in Wednesday, as the leading lady in the series.

During this Ghostbusters-themed episode, the masked contestants performed songs from the film series. Public Enemy’s founding hype man took on The BusBoys’ “Cleaning Up the Town.” After his performance, most of the judging panel—Robin Thicke, Jenny McCarthy-Wahlberg, and Rita Ora—correctly guessed Flavor Flav was behind the alien mask, while Ken Jeong, the lone outlier, guessed DJ Jazzy Jeff.
His reveal was met with a roar of applause with host Nick Cannon barely containing his excitement. “[This is] literally my favorite person ever… the one and only legend, Flavor Flaavvvv!” Cannon roared in the rapper’s signature inflection.

The NCIS Season 22, Episode 13 cast had a surprising revelation.
Fletcher Voss returned for the February 24 episode, bringing the billionaire back for more drama.
The new episode was called Bad Blood.
It focused on the murder of a Navy lieutenant who had tried to subdue a drugged-out man at a mobile blood bank.
Through their investigation, the NCIS team discovered that the man had destroyed many blood donations to cover up stealing a specific one.
Superscientist Kasie Hines determined the missing sample was from Lauren Hawthorn. And she was tracked back to a familiar person: Fletcher Voss.
Who was Fletcher Voss on NCIS?
During the 1,000th NCISverse episode, Director Leon Vance was shot, and several explosions were set off in Washington, D.C.
Fletcher Voss was inadvertently wrapped up in that case. He was the man who created Bandium (the program NCIS agents used to alert and chat with one another).

The following contains major spoilers for NCIS Season 22, Episode 13, "Bad Blood," which debuted Monday, Feb. 24 on CBS.
NCIS Season 22, Episode 13, "Bad Blood" is not for the faint of heart -- yet it does include the return of one of the show's villains. The episode centers around a blood drive that goes horribly wrong and claims the life of a Navy lieutenant, but eventually pivots to a story involving a very familiar face and a health and wellness company. In some ways, it resembles more of an episode of Midsomer Murders than NCIS.
"Bad Blood" starts with the shooting death of Lieutenant Barbara Jellison, but she's quickly forgotten about because her murder happens in the commission of a larger crime. That crime leads audiences through a gross murder and lots of details about blood before circling back to events from one of NCIS' landmark episodes. And while this one won't go down in history,...

[Warning: The below contains Major spoilers for NCIS Season 22 Episode 13, “Bad Blood.”] The NCIS team gets a very unwanted blast from the past in the latest episode. But that’s not the only familiar name: McGee (Sean Murray), thanks to Kasie (Diona Reasonover), gets help from some friends with his twins’ school fundraiser. The team investigates the murder of a lieutenant who intervened after a man held up a nurse in a mobile blood bank; though he destroyed all the blood bags there, they discover he stole one, and the remains of the donor, Lauren, are then found being dissolved in acid. (It’s as gross as it sounds.) Furthermore, her house has been completely wiped clean — fingerprints, hair, anything with her DNA. A neighbor saw her arguing with a man just before her time of death. Lauren just started a new job at a health startup, Life Sequence, which studies how a person’s DNA affects nutritional needs.

NCIS fans may be disappointed to learn that there is no new episode on Monday, February 17.
CBS is giving the NCIS dramas a Monday night break, and there will be no new NCIS: Origins episode airing either.
President’s Day will feature a repeat episode of NCIS at 9/8c and then an episode of Watson in the NCIS: Origins time slot at 10/9c.
There aren’t enough episodes to air a new one every week, so breaks like this have become the custom for network television.
Fear not, though, as (many) more new NCIS episodes will air this winter and spring on CBS.

Over two decades after the original run of the series ended, The X-Files is still celebrated by fans as one of the greatest science fiction shows of all time. Mixing long arcs and episodic storytelling and blending horror and humor, the adventures of Mulder and Scully appeal to lots of different viewers. From week to week, audiences never knew what they were going to get. Each episode could be a dark and creepy mythology story or a fun and goofy monster-of-the-week. One of the best episodes of The X-Files fell perfectly into this latter category. "Bad Blood" was smart and fun, earning it near-universal praise from critics and fans. What makes it even cooler, is the way that it managed to adapt a classic trope from the 1950 samurai film, Rashomon.

Saturday Night Live has poked fun at hundreds of celebrities for their sketches. However, Taylor Swift was not happy with the idea for a sketch they had in 2015.

Taylor Swift’s 2015 girl squad was unforgettable, and so was her reaction to the Saturday Night Live sketch inspired by the group, per Lorne Michaels.
The pop star made headlines that year with her music video for the “Bad Blood” remix with Kendrick Lamar, which featured cameos from Selena Gomez, Zendaya, Jessica Alba, Cindy Crawford, Gigi Hadid, Hayley Williams, Mariska Hargitay and Lena Dunham, among many other stars.
In the months that followed the video’s release, SNL spoofed Swift’s iconic girl group in two sketches during season 41. One skit, “The Squad,” featured a post-apocalyptic world controlled by Swift and her friend group. “In 2015, Taylor Swift created her Squad. By the end of her tour, the entire world has joined,” the narrator says in an ominous voice.
However, according to Michaels, the “Fortnight” singer wasn’t too thrilled leading up to the sketch’s premiere. The SNL creator recently told Vulture,...

During the height of Taylor Swift’s 1989 era, Saturday Night Live aired a sketch spoofing her “girl squad” starring Tina Fey and Amy Poehler — but not the pop star herself. As it turns out, Swift turned down an invite to appear in the 2015 skit and even tried to persuade Lorne Michaels to cut it entirely.
According to a story in New York Magazine, Michaels didn’t flinch one bit when fielding her request over the phone. Instead, he responded, “Taylor, I do not negotiate with terrorists.” After saying his piece, Michaels purportedly tossed a kernel of popcorn and caught it in his mouth.
Still aired as planned, the “Dope Squad” sketch featured co-hosts Fey and Poehler celebrating the nannies and gynecologists who kept their lives running smoothly while parodying the “Bad Blood” video. Watch it below.
