I was very lucky to be involved in the making of this film as I appeared in 2 small scenes, we saw a preview of this on Sunday to a packed house and it was very good, really laughed and the leading characters were very funny and also very real, just like people I know! well done all.

Up to John's usual standard. Gritty, funny moving and entertaining. A must see if you like Godber's work.

I was lucky enough to see one of the earlier screenings of the film. I loved it and by the audiences reaction I was far from the only one! It's laugh out loud funny, but also poignant both from the situation the character has got himself into and the common family issues it portrays. I'm bored by so many films as I can't connect to the characters or the storyline. This one I loved.

I was an extra in 2 scenes of this and I had so much fun on set in Hull , it was so good to meet John godber and nick figgis
