Mithu Dey was an unknown actress at the time, and both Rocky Rupkumar Patra and Rajkumar Patra had argued against her casting, but Barun Singha Deb who was also casting director of the film fought for her inclusion.
The casting, audition and workshop start from February 2018 and its postponed due to lack of budget for start the production. Then in 2020, The pre-production was started with some old and cast some new castings.
The plot of this movie script has changed 3 times, And The script was not ready before the filming started and after some extra scene were written to enhance the movie story and developed the screenplay.
With a completed script finally ready, primary workshop, location hunting start from July 2020. Filming was penciled in 2020 with a view to a winter 2021 release. However the COVID-19 Pandemic of the time stalled plans. However the filming start on September 2020 but the plans were on hiatus due to the 2nd wave of COVID-19 Pandemic in India and also the actors other commitments but with the majority of the cast apparently still keen to participate, Rajkumar has said he hopes filming will be able to start sooner rather than later and in September 2021 resume the filming.
