In real life, Josef Mengele worked at Auschwitz, while Ilse Koch, as her nickname "the Bitch of Buchenwald" suggests, worked at Buchenwald. They were never married, as portrayed in the film. Koch's husband, Karl-Otto Koch, was commandant of Buchenwald. He was transferred to the Majdanek camp in 1941, but Ilse stayed at Buchenwald.

Goofs
The prisoners in the Nazi camp still have their hair. Prisoners, when entering the camp, would have had their hair cut extremely short, to prevent the spread of lice, for example.

Egad...

I managed to make it through about 15 minutes of Lee Bane, who plays "Mad Dog" Murphy, channeling his inner Hugh Jackman/Wolverine, and then. I had to turn this piece of garbage off.
