Beautiful at all levels

What a beautiful story and movie about people, life, and the connections between us and nature. The pictures, the characters, the story unfolding. I am so glad I saw this movie, beautiful at all levels.

An exceptional film. A real movie about real people.

Random-70778's review brings to mind a wise old saying, "Have you ever see a statue erected to a critic?"

Little lord Pompidou!

Enchanting movie will take those of my age and older ones to revisit the past. Francois Cluzet is again wonderful. And I was so amazed to see Gladys our NSW Australia Premier on a major role in this movie....Ok I need to go to 'Specs Saver' (local spectacles industry)! As for the guy who said to only watch the first 60 minutes I think he/she should let h/h hair down, Just a bit of fun is no a crime.

First 2/3 are the makings of a fine film, last 1/3 is idiotic trope that ruins the film

I strongly recommend you watch the first 60 minutes of this this film and then switch it off. the first hour of this film is wonderfully shot, lyrical story with subtle, interesting interplay between the characters as they develop. The last third is insulting nonsense.
