‘The Terminal List: Dark Wolf’ Cast and Character Guide | Photos
Image
“The Terminal List: Dark Wolf” is locked, loaded and ready to premiere and it’s bringing some familiar faces to our TV screens along with some newbies.

While “The Terminal List” focused on the story of James Reece (Chris Pratt), this time around, “Dark Wolf” is turning back the clocks to zero in on Ben Edwards (Taylor Kitsch), who’s found himself in risky CIA operation where he sways between the light and dark sides of who he truly is.

The series, which is co-created by New York Times best-selling author Jack Carr and “The Terminal List” Season 1 creator/showrunner David Digilio, takes place five years before the events in “The Terminal List.

Eyes in the Trees: Anthony Hopkins to star in The Island of Dr. Moreau reimagining
Image
The 1996 version of The Island of Dr. Moreau, which was directed by John Frankenheimer (who replaced Richard Stanley after half a week of filming), is a well-known disaster, but that was just one of many cinematic adaptations H.G. Wells’ 1896 novel has received over the years. That novel has inspired the 1932 classic Island of Lost Souls, 1959’s Terror Is a Man, 1972’s The Twilight People, a 1977 film that actually kept the The Island of Dr. Moreau title, the Full Moon production Dr. Moreau’s House of Pain, and more. Now we can add another title to the list, as Deadline reports that Academy Award winner Anthony Hopkins has signed on to star in the The Island of Dr. Moreau reimagining Eyes in the Trees.

Timothy Woodward Jr., who most recently directed the horror comedy Til Death Do Us Part, will be directing Eyes in the Trees from a screenplay by...

Death of Me Trailer Snares Maggie Q & Luke Hemsworth in a Web of Black Magic and Murder
Image
Saban Films has released the trailer for Death of Me. This new horror/thriller is led by Maggie Q and Luke Hemsworth and comes from director Darren Lynn Bousman, director of four installments in the Saw franchise. In this case, Bousman is getting inventive and playing with the genre a bit, as we can see from the trailer.

The trailer opens with a couple who clearly had a wild night and are attempting to put together what happened. They then discover a video that was taken, which sheds some light on the previous night's events. Though it carries with it some dark and twisted implications. To say the very least of it, the violence depicted in this video, which raises a lot of questions, puts a strain on their relationship. More details begin to surface and things get progressively trippy. It looks to be an inventive, dark and twist-filled genre tale.

Milo Gibson as Al Capone in Trailer for Crime Thriller 'Gangster Land'
"These guys are coming after you...!" Cinedigm has released an official trailer for a new crime thriller titled Gangster Land, from director Timothy Woodward Jr., of the western film Hickok also being released this year. Not quite Gangster Squad, not quite The Godfather, this indie mob film follows Al Capone's second in command, "Machine Gun" Jack McGurn, as played by Sean Faris. It tells the story of Capone's rise, but through the the eyes of McGurn. Milo Gibson (one of Mel's sons) plays Capone, and the full cast includes Jamie-Lynn Sigler, Peter Facinelli, Michael Paré, Jason Patric, Don Harvey, Mark Rolston, and Al Sapienza. This actually looks better than expected, but doesn't look like a knock out either. Take a look. 'Hickok': Film Review
Timothy Woodward Jr.
The innate superiority of the Hemsworth family gene pool is demonstrated by Timothy Woodward Jr.’s low-budget oater in which Luke, older brother to Chris and Liam, plays Wild Bill Hickok. A perfectly serviceable Western featuring a comfortingly familiar storyline, Hickok will tide genre fans over until more substantial offerings come along.

Following in the footsteps of such actors as Gary Cooper, Jeff Bridges and Sam Elliott, among many others, the burly Hemsworth proves more than credible with his portrayal of the iconic gunslinger, the sort of archetypal Western character who doesn’t bother to remove his boots while taking a bath....

Westworld (2016)
Exclusive: 'Westworld' Star Luke Hemsworth Finally Gets to Play the Cowboy in 'Hickok'
Westworld (2016)
Luke Hemsworth is finally getting to play the cowboy.

The 36-year-old actor stars in his first leading role in a feature film as the titular character in Hickok. It's a career milestone for the older brother of Chris and Liam Hemsworth, but it seems the allure of the project had less to do with a transition to leading man, and more with childhood dreams left unfulfilled by his character on HBO’s Westworld.

"I never get to play the cowboy with guns in Westworld!" Hemsworth jokingly complains to Et. On the sci-fi drama, the actor plays security guard Ashley Stubbs, who gets to wield a gun but not like the guests living out their Wild West dreams in the park do. "So [Hickok] was a good chance for me to live the boyhood dream of gunslinging."

Review: Hickok Is Just A Brief Chapter Of Wild Bill's Life
James Butler Hickok, better known as Wild Bill, was one of the heroes of the American Old West; a figure who has attained a near-mythical status and whose exploits – some real, some imagined – are prime material for the big screen. The low-budget indie western Hickok is the latest adaptation of Bill’s life, with his boots now being worn by Luke Hemsworth, older brother of Thor and Miley Cyrus arm candy. He joins a proud tradition of men’s men playing the legendary gunslinger, including Jeff Bridges (Wild Bill), Sam Elliott (Buffalo Girls), and Sam Shepard (Purgatory). Director Timothy Woodward Jr. and writer Michael Lanahan limit themselves to a single chapter of Hickok’s colorful life: his time spent as a Marshall in Abilene, Texas. They...

Hickok is the story of legendary lawman and gunslinger, Wild Bill Hickok. Hickok is on the run from the law when he rides into Abilene, Kansas – the most hedonistic town west of the Mississippi.

In Abilene, Hickok is offered the position of Sheriff by the town’s mayor, in hopes that his unparalleled shooting skills will tame the wildest cow-town in the West.

While delivering his own brand of frontier justice, the infamous hard-drinking gunfighter’s reputation as the fastest draw in the...

First Trailer For The Western Hickok Starring Luke Hemsworth
Man, Westworld is really good. It's so good, that it almost makes me wonder if westerns are gonna make a comeback. Then I see a trailer for Hickok starring Luke Hemsworth and I realize that no... probably not.

This trailer is pretty bad. Like not monumentally bad, but still. Poor acting, some bad looking cinematography, even some makeup that looks very much made up. I want to like this movie and tell you to go see this movie. But to do so would require me to see this movie, and this trailer just makes me not want to.

Now maybe I'm judging it too hard because I saw Hemsworth and instantly thought of Ian and Chris. They have a reputation of doing good movies and while Luke Hemsworth isn't necessarily the Stephen Baldwin of his family, he definitely isn't gonna be in any Marvel films anytime soon. The film also...

First Trailer for Gunslinger Western 'Hickok' Starring Luke Hemsworth
"We gunna have to do something about that young marshall of yours..." Cinedigm has released the first official trailer for a new western called Hickok, also known as Abilene (which is the name of the town in Kansas that this takes place in). The film stars Luke Hemsworth (the other brother of Liam and Chris) as a legendary lawman and gunslinger known as "Wild Bill" Hickok who moves to Abilene and is given the task of taming the wildest cow-town in the west. Also starring Trace Adkins, Kris Kristofferson, Cameron Richardson, Kaiwi Lyman-Mersereau, Hunter Fischer, Robert Catrini, and Bruce Dern. This actually seems like a gritty western straight out of the 90s, without much to offer other than big gunfights. Here's the first official trailer for Timothy Woodward Jr.'s Hickok, direct from YouTube: Infamous gunslinger and outlaw "Wild Bill" Hickok (Luke Hemsworth) attempts to escape his past by settling...

Luke Hemsworth is Wild Bill in 'Hickok' Trailer
Luke Hemsworth
Luke Hemsworth is stepping into the spurs of one of the most iconic gunslingers in Western lore.

In the recently released trailer for Hickok, Hemsworth stars as the titular "Wild" Bill Hickok alongside Bruce Dern, Kris Kristofferson and Trace Adkins as bullets aplenty are fired and lawlessness threatens the small town of Abilene, Kansas.

"Things ain't so quiet, anymore," a gravelly voiced Kristofferson warns Hemsworth. It doesn't take long for that statement to be verified, as shot after shot is fired and "Wild" Bill takes the role of Marshall.

Hemsworth, the elder brother to Chris and Liam, is no stranger to the Western...
